The essence of a simple, satisfied life is having a local shop that lets you heat up your to-go box in a microwave and pour yourself some drip coffee. Not bad, not amazing, but good enough, simple and pleasant.

I'd give it 5 stars, but it's so darned expensive sometimes. Service is great, variety is great, freshness is great, location is great, but you really have to watch--I almost paid double for dishwashing liquid once and went on to Giant to confirm the markup.

My only complaint is your deli area. No matter when I come in to order a sandwich, the people behind the counter are not only extremely SLOW, but there is always complete chaos with the customers waiting in line. In fact, there is NEVER ANY LINE, there's just customers all standing together in no proper order of being served. I can't tell you how many times I've come in and had other customers jump in front of me to order their sandwich because the people behind the counter had no idea who was next. Today when I was in your store, that same thing happened to me and I got so frustrated, I walked out of the co-op. You SERIOUSLY need to figure out a way that your customers can be served in the order they came up to the counter. I'm getting tired of the inorganization of how your deli is structured. Thank you!

You claim to be inclusive and open minded, which I'm all for.
Then why on earth do you instruct your staff 'not to accept anything Italian' (these are the actual words used at the checkout)?
The Italian thing in question was my driving licence, showing that I'm 41, definitely old enough to buy a bottle of white wine.
It really doesn't make sense.

Lots of variety, but 35% not my taste. I do love the roasted veggies wish they had larger variety and olipops are over priced.

Staff are really not very nice... stopped in to get a few things and the person checking me out acted like I didn't exist. Rang me up but didn't say hello, thank you or goodbye, instead he had a whole side conversation with another employee about a previous customer. Just saying, prices are high, you'd at least think the people working there could be friendly!

Cute neighborhood grocery store and sandwich counter. Decent amount of eco-friendly products, organic and local produce.

Expensive and not many vegan options. The veggie rice paper spring rolls (made in house) were really tasty. I made a special trip here thinking there would be a bunch of cool vegan/organic products to try that whole foods/Wegmans doesn't have but was not impressed with selection.

The staff is very unfriendly if you don’t belong to the co-op , very expensive and bougie for my taste . lol I explained you can’t have a food stamp card and a co-op membership . No very good customer service ! But if you live and belong there ? As most exclusive experiences , I guess it’s good !
