The arcade prices are barbarically expensive. I believe that’s why it’s usually pretty empty. The restaurant at the resort is ruthlessly expensive as well. Our bill was $165 with gratuities automatically included for a family of 5. The next day we ate at a restaurant outside of the resort and the bill was $82 tips included. We ordered burgers and wings which was just an appetizer. The comforters on our kids beds had dried up snot stains on them up our arrival. Thankfully the staff changed the sheets for us immediately. I’m only venting because I believe if you’re going to charge ridiculous prices, the service should be first class.

Our stay at Camelback Lodge was a dream! The staff’s warmth made us feel right at home—greetings every time we stepped in or out. The waterpark was a hit with its well-thought-out layout, providing endless fun for my 5, 7, and 12-year-olds. The snow tubing at 6 pm was magical, with the twinkling lights and a smooth ramp ride up the hill. Can’t wait for our next visit! ?

We decided to go the first weekend the snow tubing was open. Took two grandkids for the weekend. The water park was fun. We rented 4 lounge chairs in the VIP section, which was nice, but the concierge service sucked. We waited 45 minutes to an hour for our food to arrive and then it was cold. The only thing we got quickly was drinks. The staff was very helpful in finding the kids quickly when we couldn't find them. The changing rooms and bathrooms were clean. But the largest lockers were expensive at $50 each. I especially enjoyed the swim up bar for the adults! The room was very clean, but the beds were very firm, even for my husband, who likes a firm bed. We had a 2 bedroom/2 bath suite. The lights in the master bedroom were somehow connected to one of the switches in the main area of the suite cause they don't work when all the switches in the main area are turned off. There were no luggage stands for suit cases. We had to walk for what seemed like a mile to get to our suite from the lobby on the same floor (room 269) and back again. You would think there should be a shortcut from the lobby area since we walked a large circle from the lobby. Hiring a porter to bring your luggage in or out is worth it cause otherwise it's difficult to find a luggage cart. Don't make the mistake of not making dinner reservations early, or it's very difficult to find a place to eat at dinner time. The free shuttle is fantastic. It goes to every location on the property, so you don't need to move your car. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. Everything hot and cold you could want and it's freshly made! Plus, we had less than a minute wait to be seated. Their online system for ordering tickets for snow tubing has glitches, I tried multiple times to purchase tickets and would get to the end, and it wouldn't complete the purchase. Had to call, wait on hold, and then go through the whole process again with the agent. Finally got the tickets and when we arrived at the tubing area discovered only about 10 lanes (out of their advertised 45 lanes) were in operation. Another thing they don't mention ahead of time is if you don't go on one of the first few lanes closest to the lift, your child’s photos don't get taken for the photo packages they sell. The lines for those lanes were so long that the kids didn't want to wait in them either. They need more photographers to cover more lanes. The kids had a great time, but for the prices they charge, some of the services need attention.

My family has enjoyed our stay over the past years. We look forward to our once a year getaway. My wife and I save up so we can provide our kids a beautiful getaway. This year's visit had to be the absolute exception. We where asked to leave the water park at 6 pm because a VIP group had reserved the water park all to themselves. We felt and where made to think my money nore kids wasn't at equal levels of that group. We couldn't share the water with that group. Camelback resorts should be ashamed of themselves. Preference over a group of people while discarding others. The only positive I could say is that the manager Ben. Tried he's best to explain the situation and was extremely apologetic of the situation. For that I thank him. But Camelback will absolutely not be in our holiday list unless they establish a equal treatment of all.

Me and my family had a wonderful time at the resort. The staff was great as well. Only thing was they wasn't really informed on the changes for the pajama party, so we didn't receive the correct information. They don't have a charging station for electric cars so me and my spouse had to walk 1.6miles to a nearby charging port every day. Which was very aggrevating since we was paying 25 a day for parking our car at the resort. We did speak to the activity coordinator about this issue. The roller coaster ride was so much fun. We ate at Hemisphere. There wasn't many options for 4 people our bill came up to $80 for the buffet. My little don't eat much. The $400 holding fee was a shock next time I will read the fine print. This was a great experience for me and my family overall.

Had a great day trip with the family to the indoor water park. We went early Sunday morning and it was very slow. Kids had a blast running me ragged up the steps over and over again. The food was way overpriced but decent. Service was very good. Overall very clean.

We went on Sunday when people were leaving and stayed till Monday when most people were at work/school. The hotel room was a bit smaller, but it was reasonably priced, and the water park was rather uncrowded and absolutely no line to wait. Because there was no line, we were climbing up the stairs for all the big/good slides nonstop! The kids had a blast!

This had to be by far the worst resort I've stayed at. They have 500 rooms and are happy to book all of them at the same time and then tell you that they are short staffed and it will be a wait for our rooms. I arrived at 2pm check in is at 4, we didn't get in a room until 530, and it was the wrong room. It wasn't even close to what we had booked. After crying at the front desk and showing them exactly what room I had booked, I was told that the room doesn't exist. They "upgraded" me to another room, but I still had to wait. We weren't in the new room until 7:30! By this time, the Waterpark was closed, and we had wasted an entire day.Now we would have loved to wait at the bar, but it was closed tho the sign said it was open. They have 1 restaurant that was open to accommodate all these people! No way, we had nowhere to go. The lobby was packed with people sitting on the floors waiting for a room. The pool bar even closed an hour early! It's crazy to have such a big resort and to have nothing open. Parking is $25 a night, and you have to park a football field away and walk with all your stuff. We tried the mountain coaster and had reservations at 11, but for some reason, we were stuck waiting again, over an hour just to get on it, such a waste of time. I won't be returning to this park.

Updated 10/12/23First the good…The hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful. It has a great view, clean room. And most adventures are greatAnd now the “But”….The summer tubing in the sun with no snow, was a total disaster. We got stuck right away, and I had to drag my tube and the tubes of my kids down the hill in a 80-degree weather, my kids were all just scared and stranded in the middle of the lane. A tube can’t slide by itself, they smear wax to help the tube slide, but it doesn’t really work. When I came home I called customer service and told them my story, that I spent a nice amount for all other adventures which were great however this one advanture that we paid for one hour tickets, me and my family couldn’t enjoy and asked for a partial refund which they did not want to honor. It is a pity that one sales representative can ruin a trip for a family and the reputation of a place for the family and beyond. On a side note: Attractions for young or short kids is very limited, since most adventures have tight age and height restrictions and families with only or some younger kids cannot fully enjoy the stay. I suggest the resort add some more attractions suitable for younger or shorter kids. Just my thought…

This is an annual trip we take for my daughter's birthday. There is something everyone in the family can enjoy. The staff are exceptional. Everything is clean. The gluten free pizza is really good. The family really just loves it here.

Atmosphere was chill. The whole hotel is very clean. Lots to do for kids under 15. Shuttles to take you to the other parts if you don't feel like walking. The only reason for not 5 stars is that I booked the trip 7 months in advance. When it got closer, we wanted to stay a little longer. They wanted to charge me double for the nights I had already booked plus the double price(full price) for the extra night. I would have been fine paying for the extra night but not more for what I had already agreed upon for the first night's. So for that we booked our Christmas at their neighbor.

The worst hotel ever!!!! They want all this money per night and they provided dirty towels, can't get hand soap, cant get hand towels or face cloths, the housekeeping is rude and under serviced. When requested to speak to management waited 30minutes and still they never came. Save yourself the money go to the outdoor water park or great wold lodge! This hotel did not meet my expectations to be so expensive. And to the hotel save your Comments now because I provided an opportunity for you to address my concerns while I was there and to no avail. Would not stay here again.

I would say that overall we enjoyed our trip. The kids enjoyed the indoor water park and we spent a day at the outdoor water park. The rooms were generally clean and well-kept. There were some strange things housekeeping coming after 4:00 p.m., very loud air conditioners, and the water from the shower splashing out all over the floor. The rooms were also advertised to have a balcony and a coffee maker and our room did not have either of these.I was not really a fan of them charging $25 a night for parking. I know they're going to come on here and say it's necessary for maintenance and upkeep but every other resort has parking and they don't charge. It's just a shameless cash grab.Again these are minor issues that really didn't significantly dampen our experience. We definitely made some great memories with our kids and will likely be back again.Safety: There were no issues with safety. We felt safe everywhere we went.Walkability: Not walkable at allFood & drinks: The food at the resort was generally low quality and very expensive. We enjoyed the trails and restaurant but many of the other places were not great. It would have cost us about $80 for one day at the breakfast buffet for a family of four. That's insane. I recommend leaving the resort to go eat at one of the many great local restaurants.

Loved our stay here. Been to another Waterpark in the poconos and really enjoyed this experience much more. The room was clean and spacious, unlike another Waterpark we went to. Bonus was our room was ready early the day we got there. The Water Park itself has a great variety of slides, was very easy to manage and not super overwhelming. Get there at 10 and there are absolutely no lines for at least the first hour. Even when more people were there later, lines moved quickly. There is a ton of seating at the Waterpark, which was also super nice to not have to fight for a spot. We also loved the daily activities like sand art and make your own donut. Definitely will be back again!Rooms: Spacious and clean
