Unfortunately, I did not know about this company until yesterday when I need something the big box stores did not carry. Was welcomed with great, helpful staff. Good price on the product I purchased! This will be my go-to place for the future.

Go to Allegheny Lumber. They have cement supplies. Also hardware. Paint supplies. Drill bits. Saw-zaw blades. And best of all, the people are knowledgeable and willing to help.

I love this place! The owners spent a lot of time with us when we stopped in. We are redoing our deck and we needed advice- they were incredibly helpful and very friendly. Very happy to support this business- they’ve been open since the 1930s! Great place!

Just talked to Bill. Tried to get an estimate for pressure-treated wood and stair stringers, but he behaved very unprofessionally on the phone. I asked if cutting 4' tread boards from 12' lumber would be more economical than using 8' pieces, and he reacted as if I had asked him to sell one of his relatives to a human trafficker. Does he realize that showing courtesy to the customer is a thing? Cultivating long-term relationships with local area customers is the life blood of non-corporarized businesses like AL. Headed elsewhere to supply my job now...
