Clemmer Moving and Storage was extremely helpful for our move from Princeton NJ to Baltimore MD! Both at Princeton and at Baltimore, all the movers were very professional, on-time, and efficient, and handled our items with great care. We moved half of my apartment earlier, and will definitely use them again to move the other half later.

Absolute heroes! Clemmer Moving helped my aging parents downsize from a ~3000sqft home to a continuing care community. This was a very challenging process both emotionally and physically for my parents, and there is no way we could have pulled it off without kindness, professionalism, and encouragement from the Clemmer team. They didn't just execute the move flawlessly; they came alongside my parents throughout the process to encourage them while also keeping everyone laser focused on the end goal. Hats off to Al and Joe who devoted extra time on the logistics of moving some heavy machinery and custom furniture out of the basement. What more can you ask? I cannot recommend this crew more highly!

Trey, Chad, Chris, and Ahneif did an exceptional job moving a hot tub from a previous location to our backyard. The hot tub arrived in perfect condition. They were on time, efficient, safe, and polite. We were very happy with the service that Clemmer Moving provided.

Excellent service from my first call to the delivery of our furniture 2000 miles away. They really cared that went well.

Clemmer Moving did a fantastic job moving us from central NJ to Washington DC. The movers were professional, responsive, and efficient. They did everything we asked them to do and did it well, and at all times had a positive and friendly attitude. I would hire them again for a future move!

Post-move service addressing missing items and furniture chips was unsuccessful. Crew chief was very professional.

I used Clemmer moving for a move within PA. I am incredibly disappointed and in dissbelief of the quality of work. Many things arrived broken and they treated the belongings as if they did not care if they broke or not.
The crew lead did try to work well but he had little training and was overwhelmed with the horrible work of the rest of the crew.
It was as if they did not care because they know insurance pays.
Many things were not packaged correctly for the trip. The paperwork with the inventory was totally incomplete and many boxes did not match. Some things they wrapped, like stuffed animal toys, did not make sense. vases, dishes, living room decoration, cracked mirrors, many pieces damaged. They try to unload things quickly and their work was sloppy. boxes labeled basement ended up in the bed room for example. There was nobody taking list of what was delivered, where and how. I was there but could not keep up with the large crew unloading. It was crazy. They wanted to finish and leave. They reassembled by king size bed wrong (had I used, it, the bed frame would have dented and damaged the hard wood floor, they stripped screws on other bed frames and on drawer sets, they broke wood pieces on furniture, scratched or stained others. I still don't know where some pieces are. In the end, they only covered minimal damage because I did not pay the extra insurance that I believed would not be necessary since I had used Allied before in another state. I did not expect this level of incompetence. I still have issues pending with them and they are denying blame. Do not use them. I will submit a complaint directly with Allied as these guys taint their name and reputation. I hope this review avoids others making the mistake I made.

No show and no call for the appointment to walk through my home and give an estimate. Will go with another company.

These guys have been terrible. Huge mistake hiring them for a movie between states. They underestimated the load by 30% which caused our stuff to move to a warehouse. Two weeks later they still won't give us a concrete delivery date. They broke a bunch of our furniture and the TV. Hire at your own risk!!

I was given an estimate for approx $1300 for a move that was estimated at 5 hours for 3 movers. One mover spent a good portion of the day in my bathrooms. Same mover took 3 hours to put together a bed that took me 1.5 hours to put together when I got bed, and I am far from good at assembling anything. I don’t fault him for being sick… but I shouldn’t have to pay for him to not work.
The other 2 movers were very tired from a very hard job they did over the weekend and on numerous occasions stated that they were moving slow because they were so tired and sore. They damaged my basement walls and door molding by trying to force a couch out that I had strongly suggested numerous times be taken apart first because it was just going to the garbage. It took about 45 minutes of damaging walls before they did what I suggested. Every one of my steps are damaged. I’m assuming they should have put something down to avoid that.
It took them approx 6 hours to load truck.
When leaving to go to new home, I gave more advice on how to get there. They unfortunately got lost, which added another half hour.
I felt bad that they were sore, sick and tired, so I cooked for them.
On several occasions, I helped them. They didn’t complete the move until 6pm, not before damaging brand new construction scratching door trim and putting divot in wall. A little after 4pm, they put someone on the phone with me to try to collect close to 2600. I, of course, did not agree. I paid estimate plus 10%.
They told me I would get a call from dispatch to tell me how much more I owed. I SHOULDN'T OWE ANYMORE.
I called the next day to try to resolve and was told someone would call the next day. I waited two days to get a call.
My signed estimate was for 5 hours for specified furniture. That specified furniture was put in truck. It appears that the estimator estimated wrong, the movers were moving slowly… I am a single woman almost 60 years old. I feel like I am being taken advantage of.
I am now being threatened with a 3rd party getting involved to collect money. I am also being told that I can’t put in a claim for damage until I have paid in full. I have paid estimate plus 10% because woman on phone said that she had to charge that!!!!
2 days later, my neighbors told me that one mover bummed a cigarette from her. So unprofessional.
I told all of this to the gentleman that called me to collect money and his only follow up was to collect money.
Clemmer should be embarrassed by the way they are treating me.

We had an absolutely awful experience with Clemmer Moving from start to finish. First, they showed up with a truck that wasn't big enough and the team leader (Chris) was gone for almost 4 hours driving back to the office to get a second suitable truck to handle the move. While he was gone, we had multiple issues with the crew, including them bringing both boxes and wooden furniture outside in the pouring rain without any protection.
We were told they would arrive in NC with our belongings on Mon or Tues. No one called us about their arrival until Mon morning when the truck was literally sitting outside our house (we were staying with my in-laws 45 minutes away). The first crew broke our exterior basement door and left without telling us. They delivered our sons crib and said the parts were on the second truck. That truck arrived the next day and said they didn't have the parts. They also destroyed our king mattress (the top layer literally pulled away from the mattress) and 2 antique tables, and chipped another marble table.
The one antique table was extremely important to my wife and we told the crew that at least a dozen times. It wasn't just broken; they completely smashed the top of the table and broke one of the legs off. It was the last item the crew packed when they left our house in PA, but Clemmer decided to repack the truck the next day at their warehouse and they packed the table upside down in the truck and put boxes on top of it. The owner claimed he oversaw the repack and nothing was on top of the table, yet my wife was literally standing outside when Trey (one of their team leaders) got it off the truck and proceeded to tell my wife not to be upset when she saw the damage.
Joe (our salesperson) was fantastic, but the experience with everyone else has left much to be desired. Clemmer Moving essentially blamed us for the crib, claiming they handed the hardware to us, which would make no sense since they took the crib apart and our house was already packed up. On top of that, they have a policy that all hardware goes in a white box labeled hardware.
The owner has not been helpful at all. I spoke to him once and he said he would speak to the crew and call me back later that day. He never did. He also said he would contact Allied to expedite the claims process. It's now been 12 days and no one from Allied has responded to our claim.
I would avoid Clemmer Moving at all costs. They were a bit cheaper than 2 other Allied agents we got quotes from and now we know why.

The movers showed up on time, and everyone introduced with a handshake. Care was taken with each item, wrapping everything in moving blankets. Clear directions were provided from senior staff to the newer staff. Everyone hardworking and engaged, clearly wanting to accomplish the move quickly, efficiently, and with care to both locations and the items themselves. I couldn’t be happier. I would absolutely recommend this moving company again. Big shoutout to Ben and his team who oversaw the entire move for me and busted his rump to do an amazing job.

Our move was across state lines- a 2 day move. Day 1 they showed up 2 hours late.
At the end of the day they were rushed and hap hazard with our belongings. They forgot a box filled with screws & bolts, knobs, controllers- things they had saved when dismantling items- then left it behind! Thank god we saw it and crammed it in our slready full cars.
Day 2: they arrived 2 hours late and rushed bringing everything into the home- not waiting for directions as to where to put boxes(garage, attic, bedroom 1,2,3….)
The last thing they did was put together our sleep by number bed- or so they said they did.
That evening when we went to make the bed-the air compressor was next to the bed NOT connected- mattress was flat. So we lifted the mattress to place the compressor under and the whole bed frame Fell Apart!! The cross bars were missing all the screws!
We had to spend the night in a hotel.
The moving team lied and told their boss they put the bed together correctly!! Ha! So much for the customer always being correct! NO customer Service! Be bed still is not correct after 6 months and we now have to spend $5000 + on new bed.
They also broke a framed piece of art as well as a glass top table.
I would NOT RECOMMEND this Co.
