Sam's Club Gas Station in Temple is open to Members only, with pumps always showing the Member discounted price. It offers really good gas at the best price in the area, consistently saving a few cents per gallon. The ability to use a Sam's credit card is an advantage. While the prices are always great, there are usually long lines unless visiting on a weekday early to mid day. The lines go pretty fast even when full, though the wait can be lengthened by a few broken pumps and some customers who take their time. The pump's computer can run slow to acknowledge a card swipe and to print a receipt. There are one or two employees present to assist if needed, and the service is smooth when they are there. The staff is friendly.
