“Had a recent overnight stay with my mother as a start to our extended weekend away in New Hope and Jim Thorpe, PA. Found Porches to be a top notch bed and breakfast. The room was very spacious and inviting. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom had a walk in size shower to shame most B&B properties, or at least the ones I've stayed in. Breakfast was amazing! Homemade pop-tarts, fruits and the sweet corn bread with sausage and egg on top was to die for. Staff were very attentive. Area location could really get no better as you are off the main street by a 2 minute walk down the alley and a 5 minute walk to the bridge that takes you over to the New Jersey side. Property very well maintained and cared for. Only suggestion is for the double room where we stayed next to the office, the curtains need to provide more privacy and cover. Currently they don't meet in the front and the ones on the door need to be replaced by something heavier. Other than that would highly recommend, and should we be in the area again, will definitely book.”

“So many reviews here mention the great staff, and we had the same wonderful experience. Every single person we encountered was kind, friendly, and so accommodating!!
This Inn is tucked away on a beautiful spot, all rooms have a river view, beautiful neighborhood too. Great walking nearby, and close to many things to see and do. Highly recommended.”

“Charming. Only dined at restaurant. It is upscale yet casual, attractive, historic-chic. The best thing this place had going for it was the ambiance, which was a 10. I loved the front porch outdoor seating among lush gardens and hanging ferns, right on a main street. Inside is beautiful, with a 3 piece jazz band playing wonderfully on a Saturday night; added a sophisticated and romantic mood echoed in the decor and design of the intimate restaurant. The food was decent, but should have been more impressive for the price. Dishes were somewhat simple and ingredients were average quality. Edamame, oysters and curry were good, Thai style noodle dish was average. Presentation was good. We were disappointed with a few of our cocktails and mocktails; flavors weren't balanced, had to send back with suggestions, still came back not tasting good, yet we enjoyed the use of fresh herbs in the drinks. Service was professional and polite. They allowed the well-behaved, quiet dog in our party to accompany our outdoor seating spot. Overall, I would still love to dine here again, very lovely atmosphere and in the pretty, quaint river-side town of Frenchtown.”
“I stayed for two nights and found it very comfortable. Very rustic and dated, but very clean.
Close by to Main St. New Hope with many dining options and pubs to choose from.
Staff was very friendly and courteous.
Nice swimming pool with many lounge chairs.
I will be back!”
“What can I say, oh baby, I loved my stay. Can I start by telling you I haven’t had a dream in about six months and for some reason I had THREE last night in the absolutely beautiful beds made available to me by the New Hope Inn & Suites. In one of them my high school english teacher operated a small shop selling clothes, trinkets and CDs — naturally, I purchased Songs About Jane by Maroon 5. The other two dreams are not appropriate to share with perfect strangers… nuff said! The art is EXQUISITE here and I would know; I am an accomplished art critic from New York City, NY. The bathroom was modest, yes, but clean, as were the bedsheets. Thank you to the management for such a beautiful experience. My sister is marrying her step-cousin today so I am thrilled to have gotten such a good night sleep.”
“My cousin wanted to spend our honey moon here after our wedding. Bugs were friendly unlike what some customers wrote. Stewart Little visited us. Smell of cigars and cigarettes reminded us of our home back in WV.
Staff was straight Philly cheese steak smooth. Great for families that love pets because they will enjoy the critters as much as we did. Will come back when I marry my
third cousin.”
