“This bed and breakfast was amazing. Just charming historic perfection of the Delaware River. I highly recommend it for a weekend getaway. The room was spacious, sunny, and very clean. “Has a bit of a VFW Hall feel to it but the food was excellent and it's a fun place to hang with friends if you play pool or ping pong. Service was a bit slow but friendly.”

“We had a wonderful experience here Saturday night. The bar and the restaurant were filled to capacity. Even without a reservation, they sat us within minutes. There was a jazz band playing in the bar which made for nice background music. It was a little loud in the dining room but understandable with the music and the crowd. Cocktail list was creative and well executed. All of our apps and entrees were fresh and full of flavor. The new owners, who also run Bamboo House on the north side of town, have done a great job with the renovations and updates. The place feels historic and current at the same time. Cannot wait to come back, especially in the spring, to sit on the front porch and enjoy al fresco dining. This review does not include anything about the hotel rooms as we did not stay over.”

“We arrived early for our reservation and enjoyed a walk on the pedestrian bridge across the Delaware then coffee across the street at their Country Store. Lovely outside area. The Black Bass has been of our “ to go to “ places for many years. And now more GF items including the wonderful GF biscuits at brunch!”

“The service and location are incredible. Kelly, Trish, and Cathy are all just amazing. They are so nice and accommodating. It is a 3 star B&B that is in an older establishment so expectations need to be set appropriately. It’s going to have a smaller shower and older. However it is very clean and located walking distance to everything. You can leave your car at the B&B and just walk and not fight for parking. My husband and I stayed for 6 nights and just loved it. We both have special dietary needs. And they came up with an amazing array of vegan breakfast for me and non-dairy options for my husband that were delicious. Highly recommend a stay at the Fox and the hound..”

“From the looks outside I was a bit nervous that our room was going to messy and unpleasant. Once entering our room, it was beautiful, clean, and spacious. We even had our own private back balcony, which we didn't take advantage of, next I will definitely enjoy a nice cup of coffee. It was beautiful. The convenience of staying at this hotel is perfect to peddlers village and other restaurants and shopping places. About a 5 minute drive.Nearby activities: Peddlers villageNoteworthy details: Preserves and state parks and Washington crossing all near by.”
