Exactly what you'd expect from an authentic South Philly authentic food joint. Great strombolis and tomato pie!

I grew up on Ramano's Pizza. It's the best. Now I live in NJ and I'm lucky my family visits come with the Square pies. They freeze great using parchment paper and heavy foil.Do yourself a favor and try out Romano's pizza and everything on the menu is fantastic !

I’ll give them a 5 for the Romano Supreme Pizza square, minus mushrooms every time. The crust, the sauce, the peppers—everything about it is supreme. The service and atmosphere are typical Delco (IYKYK), but that pizza keeps me coming back! I’m a happy customer.

Ordered a meatball sandwich...eh it was ok . Read the reviews so I gave it a shot . The meatballs were a nice size but not enough flavor . I like meatballs to taste like they were cooking in gravy all day . Hints of garlic and basil ..in a hearty tomato gravy or sauce . My girlfriend's Mom was straight from Sicily ..she always called it gravy . Anyway...there wasn't enough of it regardless and the roll was soggy . The provolone cheese saved it so to speak and while I had to rebuild it n reheat it ..I ate half and made a mental note to put spaghetti and meatballs on my shopping list .I know they're famous for stromboli I'll give that some thought . Maybe someday I'll.open up my own restaurant and just sell meatball sandwiches .. anything is better than what I've been getting around Delco .

Just left after eating cappellini with bolognese and 2 meatballs. Menu says it comes with garlic bread or a roll, yet I was charged 3.99 for garlic bread. Didn't say anything because I wasn't sure, only after I grabbed a menu on my way out. Based on that alone, I will not come back

Service was terrible. There was only one girl to cover the tables , phone calls, and the people walking in to pick up food. Our food was dropped off at our table and the server never once returned to check up on us , which left us with empty drinks and me with burnt eggplant that I couldn’t get “addressed” until she finally brought the check ($8 was taken off our bill). Such a disappointment.

Romanos has one of the best cheesesteaks in our outside of Philly. Perfectly done steak and a soft delicious roll. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It's also a Philadelphia area institution. With a history dating back to the 1930s they are most famous for inventing the Stromboli. If you are in the area and haven't yet tried Romanos you really should!
