Very nice campground. If you made your reservation online you can go straight to your site. Not required to stop at the office.Sites are spacious. Some sites have electric. No water at sites but if you have a camper you can fill your water tank before you enter the camping area. Campground has a dumping station.Absolutely love riding bicycle on the 5 mile Lake Trail. There is an access trail in the campground and if you leave from the campground, before the bridge, there is access point- I do not like that one because of the hill, I prefer taking the access point after the bridge, which takes you to the lake and then you can continue on the Lake trail. We came upon 2 deer grazing by the trail path. They didn't even run away when we stopped. We walked our bikes past them.At dusk we heard car alarms going off. Wondered what was going on. Then a BEAR walked into the site next to us. We were sitting by our camp fire. It was exciting but scary. DO NOT KEEP YOUR FOOD OUTSIDE! Bear had no interest in humans, just looking for food. Bear turned around when flashlights were shined on him. He headed back into the woods. We stayed out by our fire. He didn't come back.Lake offers boating, but we were there in the off season. Lake is beautiful.

We used to camp here growing up. We went back recently and it's as wonderful as I remember. It has new bathrooms and showers now, better than pit toilets from years ago :) this park holds a special spot in my heart.

Beautiful camp ground. They have restrooms where you can shower and of course, go to the bathroom. There's a playground area, sand volleyball and boat fun. Family friendly but yes, it is wild life out there so be cautious

Decent campground with well maintained bathrooms. The shower knobs do not need to be constantly pushed for water flow and once the water was hot it stayed that way.Check ahead to see if the beach is open ** Guoldsboro beach is close by.

Beautiful park to go alone, with friends or family, they offer boat and canoe rentals. You can fish or hiking, or if you're having a birthday party or family reunion, it's a great spot. My friend told me there is a nice spot for swimming but I did not walk to see it as I came with friends to celebrate Kevin 51th birthday brunch. However, I do plan to come back with my husband and granddaughter.

Beautiful park , about 5 mile trail along the lake, mostly gravel, can go with a stroller. Campsite are very clean and comfortable. The beach by the lake is dirty with algae in the water, and geese poop all over the grass. But you rent a boat and use it on the lake

Tood a ride down to the devils hole. Most beautiful hike I've ever seen. It's like entering another dimension. You descend into an oasis like earth but not exactly. The temperature drops quickly as you walk further down the path. The fog floating above the water dampens the sounds of the forest. The water is like ice but feels refreshing. It is truly peaceful

I was alone for the first hour which was awesome. Very clean, quiet and relaxing though I'm sure that will be short lived lol

Camped here for a week. The lake is nice, they have kayak rentals in the summer and there’s plenty of fishing to do. The campgrounds are cozy and offer showers, restrooms, and laundry nearby. Each campsite has a fire ring, picnic tables, enough parking for an SUV, and good ground for a tent (or two) setup. The only thing that I wish I would have known: there are black bears here and they know that people have food. Our cooler was ransacked one morning, but that’s just camping life for you.

Great park! There's a great ~5-6mi trail around the lake. A few roots and big rocks but nothing too technical. The "beach" section of the lake is nice too, the sand has small rocks all throughout so it can be a little uncomfortable to walk but nothing sandals can't solve

Great camground but there is no campstore so you need to go of premises to get wood and basic necessities. The mens bathroom had only cold water and water pumps to fill up jugs were not all over the campground, only at the entrance or by the camp host. Bathrooms are modern and clean, and the playground in the center for kids is awesome! Some sited are closer together, so book ahead of time for more privacy. The public beach is awesome, with another awesome playground ?

Nice place, trails aren’t clearly marked, but it’s pretty. The red trail requires some good foot ware and is not just an easy stroll, so come prepared.
