“We’ve been a Goddard Marshallton Family for over 6 years and can honestly say we’ve had a wonderful experience for our 2 boys. Our 2nd son just graduated Pre-K in June. I’ve said my “thank yous” over the years in a bunch of ways but I just can’t appreciate the teachers and staff of Goddard enough for all of their love, care, encouragement, and support. As a parent, you hope upon hope that your own children gain a love of learning from a young age. An enthusiasm, a curiosity, a wonder…and then all the other important things…rule following, routines, and friendships. The staff and teachers at Goddard have done what we couldn’t as working parents and what my boys needed in early education. I couldn’t be happier with our experience for the last 6 years and I couldn’t be more appreciative to every single teacher and staff member that have come into our lives. As an elementary teacher myself, my oldest son was more than ready when he graduated from Goddard Marshallton and began kindergarten. He knew his numbers, letters, letter sounds, book mechanics, how to share, play, follow directions, communicate with words, etc. (all things we look for in upcoming kindergartners). I know my youngest will have no problem with the adjustment, as well. You’ve left your mark on the Archambault Family, Goddard, and most importantly on our boys. “I have nothing but great things to say about Little Stars. My daughter attends this location and I have a friend who’s son attends the Kirkwood Highway location. My child started at 3 months and is now 15 months and is SO happy to go to school every day and loves all the staff. She’s loved it from the very beginning.They provide daily reports and each day is filled with fun, learning activities and time outside when the weather is nice. They do awesome arts and crafts and really give each child individualized care. The facility is clean and safe.They’ve worked with my child through all of her “issues”, lol and given proper guidance and discipline. I can’t thank Little Stars enough for all they’ve done and I highly recommend them to any parent looking for a trustworthy and caring daycare facility.”

Merrie Moppets creates a home like environment and the teachers love the kids as much as the kids love the teachers. My 4 year old will be ready for Kindergarten next year thanks to Merrie Moppets. “Our son attends Willowdale Children’s Academy in Avondale, Pennsylvania. I want to share what a great experience it has been for him, and how he has blossomed there.When you walk in, the building is beautiful, and you can really tell thought and care was put into its design. There are murals from familiar children’s stories on the walls. Watching our son identify the stories and hearing him sing the songs associated with the murals is so meaningful to me.All the classroom doors are decorated with fun themes that change with the seasons. Inside the classrooms, the kids’ most recent art projects are hanging up for everyone to admire. I love how our son beams with pride when he shows me his latest creation.The staff is friendly, supportive, and caring. Our son loves his teachers, and they truly care about him. He loves to stop to say hello to the Director, Ms. Tacy, every morning. I am always so impressed when she unfailingly puts aside whatever she is doing to return his greeting, and give him her full attention.It also impresses me how the Director and the teachers are always willing to listen to any issue, problem solve, and quickly implement an appropriate solution. For example, our son didn’t want to nap during nap time because he sometimes had accidents while he was napping. We decided a pull-up was appropriate for nap time, and then the teachers discreetly implemented this solution right away.The staff also made sure that I was aware of CCIU’s screening process for developmental delays, when it was apparent that our son was a little behind with his speech, language, and attention skills. With their help, we were able to get him screened at the center, and have an IEP developed to address the issues. They accommodate the CCIU’s staff visits right within the center, during his normal hours there. He has gotten the right help, and is making so much progress!The best review I can give is to say that our son truly enjoys “school” and is eager to go and “play” each morning. The staff does academic work that is right for his age, but I am very glad it is presented in a fun way. I’m so grateful that our son feels that his main activity is play, since play is exactly what he should be doing at age four.”

“As a parent, my first priority is the safety and well-being of my daughter. My husband and I researched many daycare centers when it came time for us to go back to work after the birth of our daughter. This was right in the midst of COVID and we were all scared but we had to go back to work. The team at KinderCare made the process so seamless and we haven’t looked back. Our daughter has been in their care since she was 3 months old and she is 2.5 years old now. She thrives, she learns, she has fun and all the while being safe. We moved to Elkton from Newark and we didn’t think twice about keeping our daughter at this daycare. It’s safe, clean, and very professional. With the App we see her progress throughout the day and they bless us with pictures. Without a doubt the best daycare around!”
