Transmission Repair near Toughkenamon, PA

“I cannot say enough good things about Gregg and his daughter. They helped me out with my sons handicap van. I spoke to Gregg after getting a quote from a local Dodge dealership. I originally took it to the Dodge dealer in Delco for a transmission problem.

They said I needed a new transmission after receiving a text through their automated system. Replace Transmission: Accept or Decline: $9000, is how it came across, no explanations of why I needed one. I went to Russ's and explained the situation to Gregg and he said get it towed here so I can look at it, this doesn't sound right. It wasn't. It turned out to be a module within the transmission just as the code had indicated. He replaced the module and it has been running fine ever since.

I cannot say how or why the Dodge dealer came up with a total replacement, but I saved my son and myself thousands of dollars by making the trip to Russ's. Not only that, he truly seemed to care about getting my son's only means of transportation back to us quickly since it is so specialized.

After I reached out to the owner of the dealership as it says to do. You would think you would want to know about such a bid mistake. No answer as of yet.

A week later, I brought the car in on Monday morning. Little did I know that it’s busy season at the shop (so make an appointment if you can), but they were great, and with an 8:00 a.m. drop-off, they called at 12:30 p.m. and said it was done. Definitely found a gem of a shop and will be back.”

“I spoke to Joe at JV Auto repair and was able to schedule a follow up appointment the next day to look at my friends Jetta who was scheduled to travel back to Texas although her AC was not functioning correctly. JV quickly identified that the new compressor from Napa was defective but still under warranty. I returned the defective unit back to Napa for a full refund and opted to replace it with a new unit from the dealership. JV installed it that same day and I was up and running without issue. “I made an online booking for 8am thinking that was the time for my oil change (perfect!) not realizing after calling to confirm it was supposed to be a drop off time (yikes!) I had taken the day off and I had a ton of errands lined up (which is why I was so excited about 8am being available) but after apologizing and offering to reschedule I was told to come in and they'd make it work. And they did! This location has impeccable customer service. They are so welcoming and knowledgeable and they explained my question in a way I could understand (car maintenance isn't my area of expertise at all) and they even offered valuable auto advice for the future. I liked that they have a shuttle service (I didn't see one person wait over 10min to get a ride from them) so I will keep that in mind next time. As I waited for the oil change I witnessed how they treated each customer that came in the door and I was truly impressed. I will definitely bring my vehicle (s) here in the future. (But making the appropriate appointment next time of course ) I can't thank them enough for squeezing me in and letting me hang out until my Rogue was done as well as providing excellent customer support.
