Cute candy kitchen located in Helen, GA. They had a variety of sweets that were all made locally in the shop. It's hard to choose just one but we very much enjoyed the chocolate creams! Staff were great and very helpful too.

If you're in the mood for something sweet and delightful, you absolutely must pay a visit to Hansel & Gretel Candy Kitchen. It perfectly embodies the whimsical charm of Helen, and let me tell you, everything we tried there was absolutely delicious! Since my parents live in the area, this was one of the first places we stopped by to satisfy my sweet tooth during my visit. We indulged in an assortment of truffles and other delectable treats. My mom's personal favorites were the chocolate + nut selections, and I must say, they were absolutely delightful. As for me, I couldn't get enough of the milk chocolate covered oranges. They were pure bliss, and I could honestly devour them all day long. While they do offer a selection of packaged candies, it's evident that most of their treats are made right on-site. The array of choices is impressive, ranging from candy apples and pralines to fudge. You can either pick from their pre-made assortments or create your own delightful combination by purchasing your favorite treats by weight. The options are endless, and you're bound to find something that suits your taste. Stepping into Hansel & Gretel Candy Kitchen is like entering a whimsical wonderland. The shop itself is a treat to explore, with its vibrant and inviting atmosphere. The delightful aromas of freshly made candies and chocolates linger in the air, creating an irresistible allure.

I was window shopping around the area and had to stop in when I saw chocolate candy apples. I ordered a caramel candy apple and a chocolate drizzle with peanut's caramel candy apple, and a dozen of assorted truffles. They also have fudge, chocolate covered cookies and nuts, and many other sweets. They had jelly candy apple but it was either plain or with peanuts. It would be great instead of peanuts to have shredded coconut. However, there's plenty of other sweet treats. Overall, everything tastes good and was devoured by my family soon after leaving the store.

Chocolate covered Fritos...yes, they exist! Okay, the low down...cute, clean and so many yummy options!! Everything from fruity, chocolatey, sour, all of the sweet yummy flavors! The folks churning out the delicious delectables are sweet and helpful. The only drawback is the pricing....I know, I know, it's candy made in house but it's a tourist area and it's priced accordingly. (1/2 lb almond toffee, 4 pralines, 6 pieces of the chocolate covered Fritos was $31.65...but when it Rome, ahem, Helen)

I have been coming back here every year. Those chocolate covered strawberries and Oreos get me every time Very friendly service inside and they get a lot of business in town. They do have a store on the outskirts which is the outlet. Def a wonderful stop anytime of the day.

We stopped by the one that's a little out of the middle of town, right by the motel we were staying at. I apologize for not remembering the name or address. As we walked in, we were not even greeted, but I do say "hi, how are you" to the elderly lady behind the counter. She never ever spoke to us, offered us any samples, or anything. She did however watch us like hawks, to the point I felt very uncomfortable. I should have walked out, but I really did want to try the chocolate that I've heard rave reviews about. It was pretty good. It that particular customer service was horrible. Therefor based on customer service on how we were treated says more about the quality of chocolate. I can get candy anywhere and not be treated like we're gonna steal.

A super adorable candy shop in Helen! It's got an enormous selection of chocolate, truffles, fudge, brittle, candy apples and more. If you're worried about blood sugar levels, they offer sugar free chocolate/candy as well. The line was super long when we were there, but moved along quickly as service was quick and friendly. We tried some fudge, chocolate covered marshmallows and truffles. Everything was delicious, though rather pricey. Come check this place out if you're visiting!

This super cute candy shop is in the heart of downtown Helen. When you walk in, it smells like heaven. They have everything from fudge, to chocolates, to pralines, and so much more. I ordered 2 pralines. They were okay, but not the best I'd ever had. I did like that they had pecans piled high on the praline.

Truly chocolate heaven!! You can't visit Helen and not stop at Hansel & Gretel This is your one stop shop for any gifts you want to bring back home and also to treat yourself to freshly made deliciousness after dinner. We stopped here three times during our stay. Their pecan brittle was absolutely incredible as well as the praline pecans. Their truffle selection was insane, you're literally a child in a candy store.

Anything wrapped in chocolate is always a good idea, but Fritos dipped in milk chocolate with peanuts (I think), is an out of the world game!!! They are always consistent and very nice.

I've been waiting 8 years to come back to Helen. I've been craving the peanut brittle ever since. I finally got some, and it didn't disappoint. The truffles, caramel and chocolate dipped pears were also absolutely delicious. The smell upon entering is absolutely heavenly. They also have fudge and various other treats. Definitely a must visit.

Love love love this place! Their fudge is definitely their speciality, but I couldn't pass up a caramel covered apple along with it. I noticed a lot of people picking out candies from "better times" and definitely wanted to try their wide selection of salt water taffy's. Such a cute place where you can watch them make their local goods and try a bunch of new flavors. Always packed too. So it looked like we weren't the only ones who loved this place.

This candy shop was very cute :) we got some assorted truffles (I know one was orange, one was tiramisu and one was creme brûlée, but aside from those I can't remember what the other flavors were!) & I also picked up a box of assorted chocolates for my mom. She LOVED them. We really liked the truffles as well, and the variety here is great. Service was great and the people working were helpful. I knocked off one star because this place is definitely pricey, but it's very cute and the candy was really good! Recommend if you're in the Helen area!

The caramel apples are great! We also got some chocolate covered pretzels which were very tasty. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was the service. It wasn't terrible, but the staff wasn't very friendly and not super helpful.
