I wanted to love this option for new eyeglasses. My first impression: there are great employees like Andrea, Danielle and the manager who’s name I can’t recall. BUT, two of the receptionists don’t seem to understand good customer service. They also didn’t seem to know the answers to half of the questions they were asked and rely on either giving wrong answers or rudely interrupting coworkers who are busy trying to do their own jobs. You’re told no need for an appointment just come on in. I did, but be prepared to wait depending on whether staff is there or not. While I waited, I did not enjoy listening to the receptionist complain and speak rudely to customers and coworkers about other customers and coworkers. Yet they all continue to be very kind to her. I hope she realizes the grace she’s being given. This location either needs more employees or to change up the procedures because it can be a very long wait and it feels like they are in over their heads for the amount of business walking through their doors.

We arrived on time for our appt and waited an hour and forty-five minutes to see the doctor. When I complained, the answer was the doctor is slow and our normal doctor is off. We can reschedule you. Why would I wait here this long and want to reschedule and even want to come back. Very disappointed

I’m happy I found this place. The people who work here are so amazing. They’re so kind. It was fast and easy to make an appointment online and my wait time inside was no longer than five minutes. The people who worked there are absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable, I recommend this location.

I was very clear over the phone with the customer service representative. I told her I have an autistic child do you guys do eye exam for kids with special needs she said yes when I went there, they were very rude with us since we entered the building from the receptionist all the way to the medical assistance representative (she want to charge me $30 extra to use two machines when I told her we don’t need it she told me I don’t think we can go forward with this exam so from the beginning it seems fishy to me they want to charge the insurance company plus charging me another $30 to use extra machine not even necessary to use it. ) I never has the same experience back home in Florida. We went to too many offices back there everybody they were very nice not even if they not have experience how to deal with autistic children. They were very friendly and patient, but in this office clearly they are saying to me we don’t need you here you and your disabled kids shame on you people.In addition, the doctor she was the worse she told me this is not the good setting for your daughter you should take her someplace else, and I told her They should not schedule appointment for my daughter If you guys don’t deal with kids with special needs she told me sorry, but you have to go. If you have special need kids don’t waste your time in this place very racist very ignorant people..

Honestly like what is their process and who are they playing games with . Customer service is okay but the process to receive contacts and glasses is ridiculous . I ve been wearing contacts since 16 and never had a doctor have to order trail contacts them not have them come in at the same time . They are playing kid games . Because this is beyond bogus and unprofessional on the doctor part . The staff is the office is cool.

I received 6 text messages reminding me of an appointment twice a day.. Got there early for the appointment. Was asked to sit in the waiting room... Ended up sitting there for 40 minutes past my appointment time without no explanation, So I got up and walked out.What's the point of setting up an appointment? ..people today act as if actual working people have anything else to do.Maybe they should set up text notifications for "eye examiner" to let them know they have customers.

I don't know how any patients get seen at the Trexlertown location. I tried to make multiple appointments 2 years ago to get contacts and each time I made an appointment they would cancel it. So I've been going to the White Hall location because they actually keep their appointments. Today I made one for this location because I need a new prescription for a refill and it happened again. They called to tell me their system keeps crashing and that they didn't want me to show up and it crashes again and I can't get my exam done. It's always something with them! I don't know what they are doing at this location but it's definitely not working!

Nancy, the manager, does not properly train her employees and then gets really upset with them in front of other employees and customers when they mess up or need help. Employees are only offered between $11-$13/hr to work there, which is a HUGE insult, especially if an employee has gone to college to study for this field of work. This location is always wildly understaffed as well... To Nancy: If you paid your employees a living wage, trained them properly, and treated them with respect, you wouldn't have such a high turnover rate here. Honestly though, after admitting that you read and laugh at some of these Google reviews, I doubt that you'll take this one seriously either.

Do not do business in trextlertown location. The manager the one with the purple face is very unprofessional, terrible customer service and it’s all a con job. They sell you glasses that won’t last a month and they won’t allow you to get your contacts unless you “pass a class” just to rip you off. Mind you anyone could order contacts online. So please go to Warby Parker better quality and definitely better customer service don’t have to deal with Barney.

My experience was wonderful. I had a really great eye exam and excellent customer service at the store in Trexlertown PA. After my eye exam a woman named Danielle helped me find a pair of glasses, answered all my questions and listen to my concerns. Her customer service skills went above and beyond. She was very thoughtful and extremely kind. I would definitely recommend trying America's Best in trexlertown for anyone that needs assistance with their vision. They have a wonderful staff that are very helpful. Especially Danielle! She was truly wonderful! And the prices for the frames were really great. They are much more affordable than a lot of other places I've gone to. And they have a really nice selection of frames as well.

I came to this location since my ins was coming to a renewal & I was in town. The whole staff was very pleasant and Dr. Shah was very kind! Danielle was patient with me while I took forever to pick out my glasses (this was back in Dec). I called yesterday to see if they can see me Easter weekend and explained what was going on. They told me to see someone locally ASAP and I ended up finding another AB near me that also had very pleasant staff and resolved my concern. Thank you Hannah, Shah and staff for being great and caring about your patients!! Highly recommend this location if you're local.

Terrible customer service. Save yourself time and agony and go somewhere else.I had an appointment scheduled . They asked to see if I could come at another time because that slot had opened up. I changed my work schedule to accommodate and confirm the new time. Literally within a few minutes they called back to say that the doctor was out that day and now both my appointments were void and I could re book a few days later. The person on the phone essentially shrugged her shoulders and told me to deal with it.Bottomline: awful system . terrible attitude. Find another place.

Danielle was soo great and went over and above what we needed. I want to thank her again and let her know she is soo appreciated today and I hope she gets well compensated at her job because she deserves it.
