This Dollar General has been sorely lacking since a few years back. The stock is steadily sitting in the aisles and spends more hours on the floor than the employees do. Sometimes you can smell weed, sometimes you hear ghetto music from the loudspeakers, but you always have to avoid people trying to steal the goods in a not-so hidden manner.

ONE YEAR LATER SAME ISSUE Guns drugs and racism from employees This store is never opened on time and when they are nobody seems to stock the shelves the employees wear headphones and use fowl language in front of small children and i have been calling all week to speak with a manager and have been told every single time that they do not have a boss on duty and the store is dirty and never seems to be cleaned

Never open when they are supposed to be. And if they do open up you better hurry up and get in here cuz I only open up for an hour or two. They're rude! The store is a mess always. They shut down for days at a time but they have employees and they're dancing instead of cleaning and stocking. This store does not serve the community in any which way. The isles are always cluttered, messy and very hard to get access to.. especially in a wheelchair. They are not friendly for disabled people to shop

I'm starting to think this dollar general is a front for something else. . They don't even have actual photos of this store location. The Monroeville Dollar Trees photo is what pops up when you search this store and all of the photos "by the owner" are all stock photos of other dollar generals. So the owner is either an inept, unqualified, dumby who shouldn't be running a business OR a criminal doing business right under our noses. Hopefully this place gets shutdown and replaced just go to the CVS down the street. This place is useless.

Who ever owns this store needs to get it together. Either update your systems or hire new people because it's a gamble on if they are actually going to be open. The workers close the store because they feel like it or theirs only one employee and they have to close the store to get stocking inventory done because they can't stock and run cash register. Now the new "issue" is their wifi is down and they can use their pos system. Tried to go yesterday. There were multiple employees and they were actually open but had a sign that said "cash only". Tell my why from the time it took me to go to the ATM and back to the dollar they were closed again? This place is a hot mess and if you're not gonna clean it up let another business move in because there are no grocery stores in the area and this is the closest place to buy food or household products that's a walkable distance. The community needs this dollar general but not if it's going to be ran like this. . .

Never open.They can't get any good employees. Shelves are never stocked.Most of merchandise on floor in cardboard boxes.Tons of elderly in this town and not a good spot for them to go.Its shameful and disgraceful, makes our town look bad.
