Helping Hands is not your typical thrift store. It is clean, sells nice clothes for all ages along with household items, and has great prices! Helping Hands helps support families and foster children in several counties. Their goal is always to help others! ?

I take all of my donations to this store. Very friendly and clean. I know that the items I donate are used to help others in the community. Owner sponsors scholarships for local students and gives back to my community. Proud to have this store in Tyrone.

I absolutely love Helping Hands in Tyrone! The owner and employees are always so friendly and ready to help. I always find great things to purchase there and it makes me so happy knowing that Tyrone residents benefit from the donations made to Helping Hands! The store is clean, well lit and inviting! My gram used a wheelchair or a walker which made some stores hard to shop, but Helping Hands has a nice parking lot and an easy store for handicap people to get around in. I always feel welcomed when I shop there!

This place tosses out a lot of your donations. Drove behind the store and the dumpster was full of useable items in great condition. You donate here thinking someone will buy your things and give them a new life and instead everything is trashed. I would rather give my stuff to churches and women's shelters and halfway houses to people who would be grateful for your items and will actually use them instead of sending them to a landfill. The staff is rude and I will never shop or donate here again.

Helping Hands is a non profit organization that operates daily to help others. The profits of this business have helped so many local individuals, schools, Police dept with homeless, supply drop offs to the Humane Society monthly, scholarships to Tyrone School District each year and works closely with two foster agencies to provide items to the kids in need.Recently I had a gentlemen vandalized my dumpster and because I turned him into the authorities, he and his posse have decided to write nasty comments. So I will address this one time only, because the time it takes to manage this drama he has inflicted upon Helping Hands, takes time away from helping someone in need.1. There are no CEO’s to pay, this is owned by a local individual who has never been issued a pay check by Helping Hands2. There are no nasty, rude, or mean spirited employees at Helping Hands, obviously you have never been inside my store.3. We do help the community each and everyday. You obviously didn’t do your homework on that comment.4. Helping Hands doesn’t discard your donations, we wouldn’t have a store full of new items each and everyday if we did. Also if we have had something for over 90 days, we actually share the love with another Thrift store. So Mr. Copp and posse, you need to ask yourself this question. What have you done for your community? So next time instead of taking time to be nasty, take the time to do something good for your neighbors.

Helping Hands in Tyrone is my favorite "second hand" shopping store. It is clean, neat and always smells good. Whether I find anything to buy or not I just like to check it out. I do find many good deals, the price is affordable, too. The owner and workers are kind, thoughtful and helpful.
