Kudos to Lisa! And whomever else may have assisted her in locating my lost order. I provided a merchant with my physical address (Tyrone, PA address) because they were shipping UPS. Not knowing they were going to hand the shipment off to USPS. I do not receive mail at my physical address….I have a PO Box in a Post Office (for various reasons) in Bellwood, PA (which is close to my house). Shipment was located after 3 days being lost.🤗

MANY problems over the years as a rural customer. The carrier won’t deliver pkgs where requested. Many times mail or pkgs are soaked or blown away and sometimes mis delivered. When talking to postmasters, they are much more concerned about defending carriers than they are customer service. So many excuses are made about why they cannot do anything involving common sense and courtesy.
Also, soft pkgs are crammed in mailbox and items destroyed.
My husband works at another PO and is a carrier. Their office actually is much more conscientious.
However, over the decades, the clerks inside at the Lobby were fantastic.

I love calling the post office and being called a liar, just remember no matter what has happened they will always protect their employees. I have had a metal sign bent and put in my mailbox, I have my mail on the other side of town and now dealing with mail being returned to sender. And no matter how many times I call in to get this fixed they are always right and I’m always wrong.

I called the post office today (19 Oct 22, at 3:00 P.M.) and let the phone ring 50 times, and still, nobody answered. WHY?

So happy to have such a wonderful postal service so close to me. Every visit seems to be the high point of my day. I always complete my business and have all my inquiries handled efficiently and with a smile. Small town post office with a great big heart.

The post office itself in Tyrone is great however the people delivering the mail could certainly stand to use more training. Numerous times I have had packages delivered to my neighbors houses or they claim to be delivered on the sites tracking option but are nowhere to be found. I understand it is a different individual here that delivers packages as opposed to regular mail but the regular mail is no better. They have started occasionally just laying my mail on top of the mailbox instead of inside of it. Which leaves it blowing all over my neighborhood. I have the direct delivery account so I can see what I'm supposed to get each day. Which I'm thankful for since I can't trust my mail people to get it to me. I wish I could find alternative means to get my regular mail and packages that didn't involve Tyrone's post office at all.

Your employees in tyrone do not pick up any mail when there is no mail to be delivered! Also claim porches and drive ways were not accessible to deliver packages when clearly your outside and no one was in sight the entire day! Ridiculous

Postal employees frequently leave packages in odd spaces around the outside of our home. We have two entrances to our home, yet they can never seem to leave them at an entrance way. Now they say they have attempted delivery twice for a package that was due to be delivered this past Sat. 1/18. I understand the weather was bad, but when did the motto for USPS go out the window?? Wish I could insure that all future package shipments would not go through them.

This is the best post office I've frequented and I've lived in a zillion different towns. I now live in Altoona and the post office here does not compare. The people are so nice and they try to be quick to get people in and out.
