Tinicum Park is a huge park with lots of history and scenic areas along the Delaware River. It is known for its really good and excellent disc golf course, which is nice and flat, kept clean, and features newer baskets. The park allows family and group tent camping near the canal. It hosts events like an Arts and Crafts Festival and a donation-flea market. Visitors note it is very close to Ringing Rocks and right across the bridge from Frenchtown, New Jersey, which has antique shops, boutiques, and great places to eat; it is also very close to New Hope. The river offers amazing fishing. The park is nice for a quick walk or picnic with plenty of parking, though picnic tables are not many. Bathrooms are almost nonexistent in the winter, with only an unserviced porta potty, but are all open in the spring.
