Sweet spot along the D&L Trail walking under the covered bridge and the location of Lock 18. Best approached via the trail. Note most of the property around the covered bridge is private property, so be mindful.

I ride underneath several times a week . Riding through the bridge and up the streep damp road to the top without dabbing is fun.

A special place. It's quiet, serene and picturesque. There isn't any parking nearby and the roads are narrow. You can park in Frenchtown NJ or Delaware canal lock 19.

One of the pretties bridges in Bucks county - traditional Red and White with the historical signage at the entrance. This one is unique as it goes over the canal and towpath. Also is in a very little community - fair warning little to NO parking spots (other than pulling over on the side once you have gone through the bridge heading East)!!!

It’s a surprise find for us when we hiked on D&L Trail. The beautiful wood structure is very unique.

Part of the canal, the bridge is surrounded by rock and brick remnants. The windows are perfect for viewing these.
