I live in Milford but use the Upper Black Eddy PO for all my out going mail. The window service is always prompt and courteous. The main advantage over Milford is the sorting center out of PA is much quicker saving days in delivery time.

Tom is great. I wish they would promote him to the permanent position there as head of the post office. He's friendly, always open to helping in any way he can, and all the people I've chatted with like him a lot. Almost all the staff, except one think he's a great boss. We have had some lazy and totally incompetent managers there. It's nice to see one who really cares, knows what he's doing, and goes out of his way. That's what most of us think of him that go to the post office. Have no idea why someone, usually a disgruntled employee, would put a negative review. It's a great small-town post office. Hope Tom stays.

The post master (Upper black eddy) Tom is horrible. If you say something he disagrees with he will hang up on you. Refuses to deliver packages based on his lack of knowledge of the road despite being proved wrong on multiple occasions.

I've always found everyone to be friendly and helpful. When someone stole our packages from our mail box, Lisa especially was helpful and sympathetic to our situation and offered suggestions, even contacting our landlord about the problem.
