Horrible school to its customers! I took my 8 and 12 year old daughter's to get their hair done and spend some time with them. I called b4 I arrived and was told that wash n curl was $10. When we arrived the (Student stylist) who I found out later was a (Teacher) had a visible attitude and told me my 12 yr old's hair would now be $30. I didn't want to argue, so I got it done. My daughter told me the (teacher) was very rough on her hair while washing and twisting her neck! I didn't find out any of this until later when I called the school. With my 8yr old I was told again that her hair would be $30. I had, had enough. The school who's students are practicing their skills should not be charging what a professional salon charges! Also, my daughters hair lasted for 2 days total. Her regular (Dominican)salon which charges the same pricing, lasts for 2 weeks. A representative then came out and said the school isn't making any money off of the hair and this is just to keep the lights on. Well, Professionals charge the same amount and manage to make a profit so someone is getting the short end of the scheme! We left without my daughter having her hair done. When I called later to get the email so I could send a letter, The same representative from before yelled at me, was very irritated accused me of trying to get a free hairdo, which I told her no one from her school would ever do my daughters hair and again. Then she told me if I sent an email she would receive it anyway! So I hope someone reads about this scamming school who's teachers must not make enough money and have to take off the top! If anyone knows the owner please post there information, I would love to speak with them.
