I would like to say that Dante the Gm at upper Darby is such a great person. I finds carts for his tenants, he helps load large items on people's cars. He definitely goes about the standard to help anyone in that building. And believe me the upper darby CubeSmart is a wild place. But I see nothing but positivity in the way Dante's turning the building around. I don't see as many straight people in the building and I'm starting to feel a lot safer as I go to my unit at night now. Thank you Dante for all you do. CubeSmart get more Dante's

Great customer service right up until I discovered the elevator I needed didn't work. A week and 3 phone calls later, no ETA on a repair. Plus there seems to be 1 cart in the whole place? Anyhoozles, I'm going to call again tomorrow about moving out and getting a refund. Public Storage on Market is a dump, but at least I don't need an elevator there.

This is cube dumb. Elevator? Broken. Garage door? Broken. For months on end. No estimated time of fix because they don’t plan on fixing. You can’t move your stuff out because the doors are broken but they keep collecting rent. Never use this location.

I would like to go on the record and say that the manager of the CubeSmart in Upper Darby needs a raise. Today while I was their with my daughter helping her get a locker. The manger was helping us and a gentleman came in the office door demanding money. The manager asked the man to calm down and not yell and I can help you. And the other man just yelling and getting in his face. I seen the frustration on the mangers face. He told the gentleman let me call someone to get clarification. And while he was on the phone the other man was still yelling it's has not been 72hrs you owe me money. The explained the process the but the man did not care. He kept yelling and calling the manager all types of names and threatening he was gonna beat him up after work if he didn't get his money. The manager said look I'll give it to you if you calm down and leave my building. The guyll leaned in closer and started yelling alot of profanity and didn't care that 2 ladies were in the office also. But the manager stated calm and gave him the money asked him to leave walked him to the door. Turned around to us and deeply apologize. I just want to say that in other situations this could have gone really bad. Their are guns all in the streets and who knows if that got had 1 or not. But if that manager wasn't who he was and showed al whole lot of restraint and calmness. Then it mite have got physical. CubeSmart plz from upper Darby CubeSmart buy him lunch or something. He deserves it by all means. We appreciate men like that in this world.

The CubeSmart in upper Darby has a great staff. Donte runs around the building making sure everything works the best way possible. And the new addition Kayla is very helpful with getting a new unit. I see the building moving in the right direction. I've been a tenant since 2022. And I have seen it all but these 2 together are great.

No staff and no power during business hours. Yesterday morning around 10am (9/27) I couldn’t get access to the main entrance because there was no power. After I entered the passcode, the door didn’t open. Then I went to the office seeking help but the office was closed. No staff was working during the business hours (Cubesmart business hours include Saturday 8:30am -5pm. Usually there is staff on site during business hours including Saturday. But yesterday, there was nobody and the entire storage location was shut down -during business hours. And there is no helpful phone number in this type of situation. If you call the 1800 number, you will only be greeted with machine recording on weekends including Saturday business hours. Poor management! Extremely poor service.

It was a pleasure sign on to cube smart. Had a little issue with the lock but the staff helped resolve it. Mack was very polite and attentive in regards to my booking my unit and answered all my questions.

I would like to say that the GM Daunte is doing a great job at Upper Darby. He keeps a positive attitude in such a horrible building. No matter what the problem is he does his best to fix it and make people smile through his day. I watch get yelled at by teanats about the broken elevator and he goes and hits a few buttons and then tells the tenants all fix and enjoy your day. And goes on fixing the other issues. I've listened to him talk to the college kids about their future. I wish he was a manager here a long time again I see this building turning around for the best and I'm glad I'm a tenant again. Thank CubeSmart for giving us Daunte. GREAT JOB!!!

Pros: The clerks/ store manger all seemed very pleasant and Mack was really polite and helpful and even apologetic for the issues that I had.
Cons: on Sunday 5/31/25 when i attempted to use my newly rented unit to store my belongings there was an office lock on it instead of my move in kit being prepped for me. I had to call customer service and speak to them for about a half hour and at first they told me it was nothing they could do but the they eventually helped me with figuring out the lock pad number to enter my unit. It was frustrating because I was using a U-Haul and was almost out of my rental time for the truck.
Once I was granted access I then found out that neither elevator was operating and for 2 days I had to use the stairs to get my items to my unit. I saw several people using the stairs and it was a lot of work having to use the stairs for large and heavy furniture
