“All good florists are expensive. While Belvedere isn't the most expensive, it's far more than grocery store flowers and probably in the upper range. That said, this is the only place I've gone to where my wife feels like it's worth the cost, especially compared to the national chain brands. She really loved their arrangements. The quality has been really excellent, which justifies the cost of something that's only going to last a relatively short time. My only complaint is that they don't seem to be suited to last minute purchases. On major flower dates, they seem to always be out of stock if you call last minute. I would think that after all these years in the business they would know to order more supply for certain dates they know will be busy. Bottom line, this place is great and totally worth their prices, (wife approved!) but you really need to call more than a couple days in advance.”
“My best friend in the whole world is buried in Laurel Hill cemetery. It is always so hard emotionally when I send a wreath to his grave. This time I tried Long Stems and worked with John. He made it so easy to not just select the right item, but also in his ability to handle the (at times) complicated location instructions, and payment. I am very appreciative for his expertise, and will use this purveyor going forward for years to come.”
