I already liked this place but I have a new found respect after moving out of state. During my time in Pittsburgh they took care of 2 tire swaps, 2 full brake and rotor replacements, and countless oil changes and noise hunting expeditions. Never did they try and upsell me on parts and labor. Everything was always done quickly and professionally. I left with peace of mind every time after talking with the mechanics. I used to be an auto work weekend warrior and after losing access the Calabro I'm back at it again. They really are a rare find.

I had a low tire pressure issue and initially visited Firestone. They told me the leak was on the edge of the tire, unrepairable, and recommended replacing all four tires — with a quote of over $1,000.
That’s when came to CALABARO, met Janine and shared the full story. She personally came out with me, inspected the tire treads, and even wrote detailed notes for the mechanics. Once the team looked at it, they showed me the improper work done by the previous shop and assured me they’d do their best to fix it.
In the end, they repaired the tire for under $40. The mechanics were knowledgeable, and this place is run by truly genuine business owners who clearly cares about their customers. A rare and refreshing example of a business that leads with integrity and heart.

I was at the garage today to have new tires installed on my car, and what a surprise! Upon waiting for the installation, the technician came into the waiting room and informed me that I didn’t need new tires. He then took me out to the garage area and showed me the tread depth, and I was good for at least another 20,000 miles. I was stunned by his honesty, so I had him rotate and balance them since they were off the car.
Since I was buying Michelins, he saved me much money. All I can say is REMARKABLE!!! It was impressive, being my first time experience with purchasing tires with Calabro. Since I have another vehicle that needs tire replacement, I have made arrangements for them to do the install in two weeks. This time the sale will go through since the tires just barely passed the last inspection 😂
This company is 5-star plus in my book.

After a frustrating experience at Monroe Muffler—where they failed my inspection and told me I needed new brakes that I knew didn’t need replacing—I decided to get a second opinion. I’m so glad I did.
I took my car to Calabro and the difference was night and day. They were honest, professional, and took the time to actually inspect the vehicle thoroughly. They confirmed that my brakes were in great shape and did not need to be replaced at all. They passed my inspection without any unnecessary repairs or pressure.
I’m so grateful for their integrity and transparency. It’s hard to find a mechanic you can trust, but this place earned my business going forward. If you ever feel uncertain or pressured by a shop’s recommendation, don’t hesitate to get a second opinion—you might just save yourself a lot of money and frustration like I did! Thank you for being so kind and professional!
I only wish Monroe Muffler on West Liberty Ave in Dormont, PA could be help accountable.

I've been going to Calabro for all my tire needs for possibly 15-20 years. They're a great crew. Friendly. Not pretentious and yet professional. Fair pricing. A nice family business I trust. They deserve the great rating they have.

Great place for service. Very competent mechanics and staff with full services available. Great selection of tires and you can trust their recommendations if you need new ones.
Hard to find a place you can trust but you can trust Calabro. Excellent leadership from Janine, Perry, Butch, Jason, Ricky, Bryan, Diana and others.

We were on a road trip from Florida pulling a 5th wheel and had a blowout on the camper. I needed to upgrade 2 tires to heavy duty 14-ply tires. I called ahead to a few tire stores and most had these tires for sale, but they didn’t want to mount them, afraid they would damage their equipment. Several of them referred me to Calibro - and I’m glad they did. I spoke with Jason, he said he’d have them in store the next day and would take care of me. Super nice, super professional, great communication, and actually saved me $100 over the competition. If you live in the Pittsburgh area, I highly recommend Calibro!

I have found my new service station. From meeting Perry, who gave me upfront pricing on the phone. What he told me “out the door” price was “out the door” no hidden fees. Perry escorted me into the bays to point out things to me as well as walking with me around my vehicle. His attention to detail was fantastic. Then there were the two “Pit Bulls” of tires, Travis and Bryan. Watching them work together was like watching a dance. When one was doing something to my tire, the other was setting him up. They worked with incredible speed and accuracy. When I had questions, they took the time out to explain and to ensure I understood. This is my second time visiting. My first was with my other vehicle, to which I had an appointment. They had me in and out so fast my head spun. This time it was an emergency and I had to wait a bit longer. With 7 bays and 5 were full, one tech working on vehicles outside. I never realized how busy these gentlemen were. Yet, the professionalism, accuracy, price, no wonder they stay busy. It’s difficult to find a mechanic that is trustworthy and honest. Harder to find a service station like that. Well, I found one, and they have a customer for life.

Absolutely the best tire shop I've ever found. I take my whole fleet of vehicles here for tires, inspections, and maintenance. As well as refer anyone looking for tires here. Amazing personnel, prices, and quality work.
