“Introduction:This was my first time and my boyfriend has been at Carl Venezia Fresh Meats a couple of times.Experience:Absolutely wonderful!Welcome:Vinny waited on us and he gave us the BEST customer service experience that we have received (at this type of establishment) in a long time! He was kind, funny, helpful, and just a sweet person!!Ambiance:The butcher shop, refrigerators, and the meat display case were clean. The products in the refrigerator looked/were fresh. The meat in the display case looked/were fresh.Food:We purchased beef bacon (one of our favorites), ground meat and peas arancini, parmesan arancini, beef tips, and steak.Price:The quality and quantity of the food was worth the price.Will return:We will definitely return! We were very happy with the service! There is no need for us to look for another butcher shop.Stars:I give it 5 stars.Tip: Please patronize this business and support a store with great food and great customer service. “Excellent selection of meats that I was not able to find anywhere else in the Philadelphia region. The store is clean bright. Everything is nicely labeled and organized. Staff was super pleasant. Efficient and quick prices are incredible. It's a shame I have not visited the store earlier. I always drove by instead of coming in until I came across the website and I was searching for a specific means that we are not available anywhere else, including Whole Foods. They have a whole rabbit they have piglets, they have duck smoked duck whole duck, wings. The prices are hard to believe 1/3 of what you would pay at Whole Foods or other supermarkets. Go visit buy online, pick it up or have it delivered to you. You won't regret it.”

“I come here for the bakery! it's my best find yet! I do not like cake, but I swear these cakes are different! I ran over the other day to grab a mini cake for my bff birthday. I got the vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream and they offered to write something on it. I was in and out within 15 minutes! the price point for quality is unbeatable. I adore this little shop.”

“One of the women who works here remembers my name. You get a number and wait for someone to call your number. I recommend getting the chicken salad and homemade potato salad here.When my grandfather was alive, I bought hoagies here. He always liked Italian hoagies (with no oregano). I would call and pre-order the hoagie and then pick it up. Excellent customer service and great prices!”

“Lancaster Meat Market has the leanest cuts of meat that I've seen in Philly! They do fish, chicken, lamb - everything. And they have a full set of grocery shelves with condiments, sauces, spices - as well as a big freezer. You can get everything for a family barbecue or company picnic.They have 16 meat combo deals, and a bunch of Deli deals and even a breakfast special. Most important: nice people, too!”
