Recently had some work done through Tommy. Very honest and straightforward old fashion guy. Wait times can be a bit longer on cars cuz he is mostly by himself. This past experience with him all I can say is he was great to work with and helped me figure out what I needed to do and was conscious of my budget. Definitely consider him in the future

Got a “total rebuild” through Tommy. Took 7 days and Charged me full price, later down the road a transmission solenoid goes out, and come to figure the transmission pan still had its original, old, and cracked gasket so I guess he didn’t even touch the valve body on the underside of the transmission where the solenoids are. Not to mention the shift cable started slipping off the transmission 3 days after the rebuild. And the torque converter casing was not secure to the transmission, missing bolts, exposing the converter. Don’t get ripped off.

THE best mechanic in the area. Tom is very kindhearted and honest. I have been going to him for years and have brought two different cars to him. This is someone you can trust with anything car-related: routine maintenance, inspections, and any problems that come up. I live close to the shop and he always offers to pick me up when my car is ready which I greatly appreciate. My only comment is sometimes it takes longer than expected for my car to be ready. I think he would benefit from some extra help in the shop. However, I am willing to wait for an extra day or two and know that my car is in good hands. I'm getting a new car soon and will bring that one to him as well.

He's a cool mechanic, but my issue is that he doesn't, or at least didn't tell me about a diagnostic fee until after I came to pick up my car which he didn't even fix after it being there for 8hrs..he works alone and needs a crew badly

Good mechanic.Recently made the switch to him.Very thorough and trustworthy.Edit-After my husband died,I left his truck there to be inspected. I was busy with a move and a lot of time was passing.Every time I called Tommy he said he didn't get around to it.Eventually,with many phone calls, over a year had passed and the truck was rusting away.I asked Tommy to put a for sale sign in it.A young man was interested and Tommy was very uncooperative refusing to give him MY key so he could put a battery in to see if it would start.He wanted him to buy a battery from hiim.Tommy told this young man that he intentionally quoted a ridiculously high price to me for the inspection. I told this young man to tow it out of there.I don't know what Tommy's motives were, but it came to light that he did have .motives. I wouldn't take my bicycle there.Extremely unprofessional on every level. And,the young man fixed the truck himself with little effort.
