We live in the Hazleton area and recently fired our current propane supplier - primary due to horrific service, but also due to ridiculously uncompetitive pricing.

1. Carol & Jacquie (administrative office) received my initial call enthusiastically and educated me not only about Valley's prices AND services, but about how to transfer services the appropriate way. I will note that their recommendation had us delaying the service transfer for 4 - 5 months (so it would benefit us as the consumer). Every call after the first one was met with the same enthusiasm.
2. When it came time for the tank installation, Bernie, the owner of the business showed up personally to install our new tank, perform a leak test and ensure everything was working properly.
3. Jeff (who was working with Bernie) was equally as competent and service-minded.
4. When they arrived at our house, they found that we were still dealing with the incompetence of the previous provider, who ignored 3 previous dates to remove the existing propane tank. Instead of complaining, Bernie & Jeff removed the tank themselves and professionally placed it in the front of our driveway for the other vendor to pick up.
5. They performed a thorough leak test that detected both an outside leak missed by the previous company a couple of months ago and an inside leak (likely new).
6. Valley's prices are the lowest that we can find in the area. By FAR.
7. Valley's minimum usage requirements are better than most of their competitor's in the area - preventing further price gouging.

“Berwick Propane customer service is A1. I switched back To Berwick after Local Propane Co In Bills Plaza (managed BY New Yorkers,) got snippy and when I ran low Called for refill and was told it would be a week. ??? I am 7 miles from them! I called Berwick they came out and replaced the tank with their's. The previous Propane Co left there tank for 6 months and when they came it had frozen in the ground, they left a huge hole and did nothing to repair the damage. Berwick is always there with in 24 hrs if not the same day if it is an emergency and they are Very competitive with pricing! They have a auto refill schedule I find very Helpful. Oh and Jeffery , when you move in to a home you ALWAYS SEE WHOS TANKS are attached and call Immediately to get it transferred, that's common sense. KUDOS BERWICK!!”
