The DOLLAR GENERAL in Warren in the TOPS plaza is so disgusting. I was in there yesterday. And I don't know who the people were running around the store screaming Jarmey. But that that store need to be shut down.
How ever the DOLLAR GENERAL in Russell is always very clean always has very nice employees

I really like dollar general, their prices are great for all but shopping in the stores they really need more then one register open

All the photos here which are uploaded by Dollar General are not of this location. They make it look like the Taj Mahal and it's more like a slum in Delhi. Front door has broken glass which foreshadows the whole experience. Aisles are crowded with random junk, place seems dingy, self checkout has been removed so you have to deal with the other clients and staff. ??

Our experience just keeps getting worse and worse...
On Christmas eva during last minute rushes the store manager was so rude to an elderly lady in front of us that she began to cry, when my husband spoke up we were told we didn't have to return.
Being Warren and inflated prices we've made a couple more attempts, until today.
Today the same store manager was extremely rude and yelling to a customer from acrossed the store that she basically followed the prompt wrong at self check out, then never tended to the customer to the point my husband decided to just go to Walmart.
The customer service at the tops plaza location has been the most disgusting and disappointing service I have ever experienced and hope that this will be one of the first locations soon to be closed.

Everything tastes and smells like laundry detergent. Just tried a DG hot dog bun, smells/tastes like fabric softener, inedible. Got some paper plates couple weeks ago, heavily reeks like detergent, unusable. Got a bag of charcoal recently, it's unusable. Have you ever burnt laundry soap? Gross.Not sure what's going on with this store, but ya'll gotta take care of the "detergent stinking everything up" issue. If something spilled, clean it up.PS: Most of the pics on the top of this maps listing are not the market street DG. This place is dirty and unstocked, Def not the "brand new" DG found in the pics above.PS PS: I realize DG doesn't pay its workers a fair wage. Perhaps if they earned more they would put a little more effort into the store. Just a thought.

Sarah is so kind and takes the time to strike up a conversation with every customer, even when she is the only one working in the store. You can tell she clearly cares for the customers and has special connections with her regulars. She works so hard and still has a smile at the end of the day. DG give this girl a raise, shes shows A++++++ customer service at the Warren, PA Market Street plaza store.
