I like the meat section and the subs are great. I'm glad to support a local and long standing store. The employees are friendly but that almost always means your visit will take a while because of all the friendliness. If you like to treat your shopping trip like a visit to your second cousin's to catch up, this is your place.

If you want fresh meat, poultry, beef.ect. Fresh fruit, fresh pastry, fresh rotisserie chicken ect. Shurfine in Warren has that and so much more.
I have shopped there and where they were in the 70's.

Definitely stop in if you’re not from the area as they have the most extensive selection of snacks and chips I have ever seen. The prices are also better than anywhere else!

They have a great selection.
You got to go to the deli and try the strawberry cheesecake and mto subs. Most items are a bit pricey but the fresh meats are also on point. 💯

My second trip to Shurfine! Prepared the meats and decided upon my purchases. I wanted a different cut of beef but found solace in the price break for the cut. I have always found reasonable prices for their bulk seasonings.
Granted, there is no soybeans in this location, either. I checked online and thought I would fill my goal of growing been sprouts for personal consumption (expensive little veggies).
Overall, it is what it is, a good store, neighborly, well-stocked with all the great basics. Reasonably priced.
