If I could give the 10 stars I would. Dr. K was just doing paperwork, but when we needed her, she was understanding and said to come in with our cat Zoey. Z was seen earlier at another office but took a turn for the worseater in the day. That office said to take her elsewhere. She tried all she could do and stayed with her thru the night. Her compassion, caring, and concern was true. Unfortunately Z lost her battle, but Dr. Z was sorry and concerned for what caused her death. She wanted to know the blood results from the other vet from eaier in that day which came in over 48 hours later. In any event, Z was sicker than thought, but in her time of need and comfort, Dr. K was there...thank you..

Hours are falsely advertised as 24 hr availability. Took my pet there tonight for an emergency and they were closed.

Dr Jackson was simply wonderful with Macky. I called on a Sunday morning after my dog was having severe ear issues. Dr Jackson was so very kind and compassionate. She was patient and understanding and I was thankful for her help on a holiday weekend.

I called what is defined as a 24/7 service only to be referred to Quakertown vets, who referred me to the pet poison hot line, that NEVER, even after nearly a half hour, picked up.. How can you call yourself a 24/7 service when you’re not THERE?????????

Be careful. Call first. They say open 24 hours and the website said they were open but when we went on a Saturday at 8 am, no one was there.

They advertise as being open "Friday Nights, Weekends and Holidays"...they are not. They advertise as being open Friday 6:00 PM to Midnight, Saturday, 2:00 PM to Midnight, Sunday 2:00 PM to Midnight, and Holidays. They are not. My dog had an emergency, I called to let them no I was on my way, when a recording said they were closed. This was 7:00 PM on a Saturday. My dog passed away later that night, after I rushed him to Blue Pearl, Levittown. Had he been seen that earlier would he have survived, I'll never know. All I know is I took my dog to an "Emergency Vet" during their listed hours of operation and they were closed. I wish they would stop advertising as an emergency "after hours" vet. You are giving people false hope and taking time away from saving a pets life. *edited to say-, this happened a few months ago. I am only now able to write about this, as my dog's death devastated me*

I can't rave enough about the compassion and dedication of Dr. Jackson and Ingrid (the receptionist/vet tech) at Bucks County VETS. I rushed a 5 week old foster kitten named Bear there on 5/11/24. Dr. Jackson immediately assessed Bear, put him on a warming pad, then spoke with me to get a history. While I filled out paperwork, Dr. Jackson began treatment on Bear, and Ingrid prepared a written estimate. Bear was critically ill so Dr. Jackson kept him at the hospital, feeding him every 3 hours, 24 hours per day. Dr. Jackson has contacted me each morning and evening with updates, even sending me a cute little picture. When Bear's health deteriorated, Dr. Jackson was able to insert an IV line into his tiny little leg. Then, she had to start feeding him every 1.5 hours around the clock. I can't imagine how tired she and her staff were with the amount of care Bear required. My little foster kitten is still with Dr. Jackson, 5/16/24, and I know he is getting the best care possible. Kind, compassionate, dedicated, competent, amazing, are just a few of the words I can use to describe Dr. Jackson. I highly recommend Dr. Jackson and Bucks County VETS!

I had a great experience when my dog had a puncture wound. The vet treated my dog quickly and dealt well with my melt down out of worry for my dog. He made a full recovery and I thank this vet for that! Highly recommend!

I had to take our beloved cat here last Sunday. We were scheduled to see our New Hope vet Monday for euthanasia, but she clearly could not make it another day. The response was immediate. I drove there, and the woman who helped me (sorry I didn't get the name) was incredibly compassionate and kind to both Peanut and to me. This made it possible to end her suffering and say goodbye without trying to prolong this another day. I've read some of the bad reviews and that was not my experience at all.

We had a great experience here. We ended up bringing my newly-diabetic dog in very late on a Sunday night. My regular vet had dropped the ball and sadly, my dog needed emergency care. He was immediately admitted and stayed for three nights. Dr Jackson and team got him situated on insulin and gave us very clear instructions for home care. She gave us the very cost effective advice to get Novolin N from Walmart and was clear about what syringes he would need as well as what follow up care. We had some struggles once he was home and my son called multiple times with questions. Dr Jackson was incredibly kind and helpful. While emergency vet care isn't cheap, I felt that the cost was fair. Thanks so much!

Last 2 attempts to require veterinary hospital emergency service, the doctor was not available. Always refers us to veterinarians 20 miles away. I asked the representative why, she quickly got defensive and was extremely nasty. What a heartless scumbag!!

Terrific alternative to Blue Pearl (old VSEC and CARES facilities). Very knowledgable woman (one of the Veterinarians?) answered the phone. She took my dog's history quickly and efficiently sorted out the problem. She explained why coming in tonight would not likely result in any acute intervention other than a bump in the medication dosage, which I could do at home. She was empathetic to our concerns and extraordinarily helpful. I will strongly recommend to our Vet that this place be added to their list of emergency facilities.

Went here today with my cat that is extremely sick. They didn’t take one look at her and turned me away. Told me they were too busy! Literally one person in the waiting room when I came in the office! Told me I had to have an appointment! Why do I need an appointment for an emergency THEY ARENT PLANNED! She tried to blame them not being able to see my pet due to Covid in the past and other emergency vets closing! I’m sorry that’s no excuse! If ur an emergency vet that’s open 24hrs you shouldn’t be turning away animals! I understand waiting my turn but this place had one pet in there besides me! Why?????? Drove 45 minutes to get there to be told to go somewhere else! Ridiculous and rude and uncaring!
