Last 2 attempts to require veterinary hospital emergency service, the doctor was not available. Always refers us to veterinarians 20 miles away. I asked the representative why, she quickly got defensive and was extremely nasty. What a heartless scumbag!!

Terrific alternative to Blue Pearl (old VSEC and CARES facilities). Very knowledgable woman (one of the Veterinarians?) answered the phone. She took my dog's history quickly and efficiently sorted out the problem. She explained why coming in tonight would not likely result in any acute intervention other than a bump in the medication dosage, which I could do at home. She was empathetic to our concerns and extraordinarily helpful. I will strongly recommend to our Vet that this place be added to their list of emergency facilities.

Went here today with my cat that is extremely sick. They didn’t take one look at her and turned me away. Told me they were too busy! Literally one person in the waiting room when I came in the office! Told me I had to have an appointment! Why do I need an appointment for an emergency THEY ARENT PLANNED! She tried to blame them not being able to see my pet due to Covid in the past and other emergency vets closing! I’m sorry that’s no excuse! If ur an emergency vet that’s open 24hrs you shouldn’t be turning away animals! I understand waiting my turn but this place had one pet in there besides me! Why?????? Drove 45 minutes to get there to be told to go somewhere else! Ridiculous and rude and uncaring!

We brought our dog in after she was bitten at the dog park. The Vet/Tech? not sure, they didn't introduce themselves looked at the bite, wiped it down and put staples in it saying it was a simple bite. She didn't irrigate or debride it and within 2 days, the bite was now infected and everything had to be redone at another vet's office. Very upsetting.

True to the vetinarian profession. Dr Jackson was the ONLY vet I could find after hours on a weekend that was open for emergecy care. And, she was much needed help, for both my 2 year old lab and me. Saying thank you is approrpriate but not near enought for all your help and caring. You are a true vetinarian professional.

Do not bring your pet here. I asked to set up a payment plan after hours of telling me nothing was wrong with my pet and got threatened to have the cops called on us all because we wanted to set up a payment plan and they still had no answer why my dog was crying in pain. They were very rude and judgemental. So we left with the same issue we went in with and a $50 charge for a tech to just sit in a chair and stare at our dog laying on the ground, we have never been treated how we were here. It was very unprofessional on all accounts save your money you’ll get a better answer from webMD.

Dr. Jackson is amazing. Extremely knowledgeable, very professional and talented veterinarian. I’ve been in VSEC, UPenn, spent thousands of dollars with no results, but Dr.Jackson diagnosed our cat on the first visit and took care of her to the very end, with all of her professionalism, cold mind and very kind heart..Thank you Dr. Jackson for helping our Fiji and being our doctor at these difficult times. There are no more stars available, I would give 10

Dr. Jackson and Staff treated my cat with such a through clinical diagnostic manner. She understood what the cat needed. We would pop in from time to time through the years when the cat needed medical treatment. She did NOT push euthanasia. If anything, Dr Jackson allowed me to come around to the decision in my own. She adored my animal as did her staff. They may not have adored me (the human) but they took excellent care of my cat. They take care of animals not humans. If they would be my primary vet...I would be thrilled but they only see pets with emergencies.

If I could give it zero stars I would. This place is listed as an emergency vet, their hours are listed on their website and on their phone system that clearly state they are open evenings and weekends.Well, that is so far from the truth. We brought our cat there in an emergency last night, for the receptionist to tell us that they didn’t have a doctor available. She stated that their vet left and she didn’t know when/if they would be back, she also had no way to contact the doctor as she did not have her phone number.HOW an emergency vet can be open and not have a vet available to address emergencies I have NO idea. They are NOT an emergency vet, do not bring your pet here in an emergency, please go somewhere else.

I am an emergency veterinarian. I see many of the cases that Dr Jackson mishandles. Do not go to this facility. Trust the reviews. The only exception is if you are going specifically for euthanasia, that’s probably the one thing that she is capable of. There are many other emergency facilities in the area, drive past this facility and go to one of them.

This place saves lives. My pet was near death twice and the doctor saved him each time. Staff is dedicated to the mission of saving lives.

Saved my cat's life after a poison ingestion in 2016. He is still going strong! Thank you! Rose and Huckleberry.

I would not recommend this vet to others. Our pet was in their facility from Sunday evening until Friday morning.Extremely ineffective service.Unable to effectively diagnose our pet.Uncommunicative, the majority of individuals we spoke with had not personally interacted with our pet. They would read from the script of notes left by the vet but not be able to give any further updates or instruction.Presented as focused on extending our pets stay rather than treatment.Did not perform diagnostics in a timely manner when requested.Refused or claimed inability to give us medical records for our pet, including when requested by our primary vet. This is illegal. We still do not have our records as they “still had to write them up”.They have not sent the records to our primary vet.We are over a week from discharge as of this review and still have not received our records. All other records from other vet hospitals we had to take our pet to were delivered immediately at discharge. We have been given multiple statements as to why that was not possible such as a broken fax machine or not having an email address.Made statements implying that our pet was not healthy enough for surgical intervention that was incorrect.Stated “He is too weak for surgery”.Our pet needed two surgeries that were completed by other vets in the following 48 hours following blood tests that confirmed that he was stable enough for treatment.Did not detail full list of treatments or diagnostics, only repeated status of pet/initial intervention.

My dog Murray was seen on June 29 by his home vet, given a series of vaccines, and by July 1 he was super lethargic, unable to eat, stand, walk, or do anything but whine... My vet was closed for the holiday and Bucks County VETS were the closest option... I called them and they had me bring him in right away. They admitted him to their hospital for 4 days of syringe feedings, IV fluids, X-Rays, blood tests, and observation. The leading theory is that the series of vaccines set of a systemic inflammatory response in his body. Bucks VETS were incredibly understanding of my constant badgering them for updates on my Murray, answered every single time I called, and now Murray is back at home, playing fetch with me in the backyard like nothing ever happened.Thank you SO much for saving my boy, Bucks VETS!
