We selected Allied Van Lines to move us from Erie, PA to Georgetown, SC. From the in person quite, to the driver, to Packers, unloading folks and Carol in the office. We could not have been more pleased! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I researched thoroughly, and I'm glad I chose Allied. Many others continued to hound me by phone and text endlessly, but not Allied. Pricing was reasonable. The crew in Washington, PA provided great communication and arrived in a timely fashion. They were very personable and professional. Everything was loaded quickly and carefully. Nothing was lost or broken in the end. I wouldn't hesitate to choose them again. The vehicle transport company actually delivered the vehicle cross country in 2 days! The household items took about 10 days to go cross country.

All the packers were pleasant, however, labeling of the boxes were too generic. Room labels were correct but content labels were often very different than what was discovered in the box. Became a surprise way to frequently. The driver (Cory)and loader(Bryan) were also very congenital. They were careful with the wrapping of the furniture, removing/entry of the houses(careful to not hit walls,etc) and placing of the furniture in the designated area. We are only 1 week from delivery and have many more boxes to unpack. So far there has been minimal breakage/damage. Hope that remains the normal.

Allied made moving easy. None of my furniture was damaged and everything was picked up and delivered same day. I would recommend them to anyone moving.

Local (Pittsburgh) did a great job. Driver who transported our belongins took 18 days instead of 18 hours to deliver our goods, showed up at 8 at night and finished at 1:30 the next morning. Driver unloaded and loaded our stuff at least 3 times (not supposed to do that) and caused several thousands of dollars of damage.
When he did show up finally, it was in a Uhaul truck and trailer.
