This bank is terrible. Switching to a different bank As soon as I get a chance. Money always deposited late. Now I have late fees to pay also..

I hope you don't have any issues with your debit card after the bank itself closes at 4pm, because it is IMPOSSIBLE to speak to anyone after such time!!And you will not get it working until the next business day, during their short business hours! My fathers debit card was not working after the activation of his new card a few days prior to yesterday. It just kept saying invalid card.I couldn't reach anyone by phone.cause you know, no one tries spending money after 4pm, obviously, so why would they have an after hours number to call. smh.So he called the bank the next morning (today) to see what was wrong and again was given NO answers as to what was happening, and why it wasn't working..They have to be able to see if the card is activated, or what is wrong with it on their end, so I'm not sure why they didn't give him an explanation..He doesn't understand the internet. He is in his late 70's and has had zero interest in learning it.Anyway, all the teller told him was to have his child, me, go online and enter his phone number to activate the card.Which makes no sense for 2 reasons. One he doesn't have online banking, and they HAVE to also know that, and 2 because he already activated it!If it just needed activated the card would have worked at the ATM or at any POS transaction made using the debit card PIN number!!I've never in life had such a horrible experience with a bank!! Why do you not have customer service representatives available 24 hours a day!!??God forbid he had some kind of emergency and needed his funds immediately because he wouldn't get them!!Now I have to set up an online banking account just so I can try and get this card working because I work midnight's and I am afraid that I won't wake up tomorrow before 4pm.Because of course, they are also closed on Saturday's AND Sunday's!!So then he would have to go all weekend long with zero funds available! And I'm not going to let that happen if I can help it!!Hopefully they let me cancel the online banking right after I hopefully fix this, because like I stated he's not an internet user, and he needs and wants his documents sent to him VIA US mail.I am going to try really hard to get him to switch to PNC.Which I know will be tough because he is a set in his ways type of man and has been using Community Bank for his whole life.

I had a very important, high-end transaction at this branch. It was handled perfectly.

The teller was very polite, which is why I would even give the bank 1 star. The financial institution itself... should be avoided at any cost. Key Bank, Washington Financial, PNC, etc are all in the area and I would recommend any of them instead.
