Not a great experience with the vehicle that my husband rented for our family this past weekend. It deserves a zero star rating. The vehicle was in poor condition. The rubber was falling off of the windshield wipers. We could barely see out of the windshield when it was raining at night. The rear window must have been shattered at some point. Every time we opened the rear hatch, you could hear all of the broken glass rattle around. The entire car was covered with dents and scratched. The interior was extremely worn. The brakes would vibrate on the highway when applied. This vehicle needs to be pulled from their fleet immediately.

When someone FINALLY answered, they were NOT helpful and barely spoke English.... I could not understand them at all. I gave up and called the toll free number; you know, the one where NO ONE answers. the stupid recording only gives you website information. Not everyone WANTS to use the web to make reservations. some of us prefer to talk to a real person. I'm taking my business to Enterprise where you're treated with respect.

If there was a place for me to put no stars that's what I would do but I am forced to at least put one I came there almost 2 weeks ago to rent a car I made a reservation online I showed up early went through the whole process only to find out that I needed a major credit card so I did not get the card two days later I see my bank statement and I'm charged $56.45 for a car that I didn't get I don't understand why my card was ran to begin with for anything being able to be charged if I didn't qualify but they did I've left a message the guy took my name and told me he would take care of it instead of appending charge it is now a charge that went completely through so the money has been unavailable to me for the last two weeks simply because I didn't have a credit card I feel like that's being a little biased as to who your customers can be and what money you're going to hold Enterprise however gave me my $200 deposit back instantly when I returned their car I didn't have to wait for anything so now I send a message to corporate and we'll see what happens with that I will never use this company again nor will I endorse I will never use this company again nor will I endorse it

On March 21st I attempted to place a rental reservation for later that day. The reservation was done online and I received a confirmation. A few minutes after I received the confirmation, the location called and told me that they had no cars available, so I wouldn't be able to proceed with the rental. No big deal. On March 29th, I called because a pending charge for $62.75 was put on my credit card and it finally posted. I spoke with the location manager Matt, explained the situation and he said he was going to get it taken care of for me. As of April 12, it was still showing. I attempted to call back and spoke with Cody. He told me he would pass my info to Matt so Matt could call me in the morning and fix the issue. At 1:20 I called back, and spoke with Cody again. But this time he said he told Matt and Matt just hadn't called me, but he wasn't there for me to speak to. I had to make another call to a different location. This time, Matt is telling me he can't do anything.Here it is, weeks later, and I have paid for a rental I never received, and they're refusing to refund the amount.You're probably better off going through Enterprise.

Booked a cargo van online as it was noted that there were vehicles available. About an hour before pickup an agent called and said they had one that wouldn't start (battery problem?) and one that was getting an oil change. He said he would call me back later in the day to let me know if it would be ready or to let me know I could pick up the following day. The call never came. I called the next morning during business hours, no answer left VM. No Reply. Called again later and he wasn't sure the status but would call me back. When he called back he preceded to tell me that it now needed tires and wouldn't be available till the following week! Never mentioned anything about the other truck as I think it got rented out ? I said we're done here please cancel my reservation. No appology, no attempt to offer something else or possible discount if I changed my plans to the following week, just the click of the phone when we ended the call

Car was not the correct size that I requested and was dirty. Toys in the backseat. I was told by the desk clerk to "take it or leave it". I called customer service and was told to call when I returned the vehicle and I would receive a discount. When I returned I called customer service and was told they do not give discounts but I could receive a gift certificate for my next rental. There will never be a "next" rental from Hertz! Keep your gift certificate.

Timely drop off of rental at repair shop but the inside was disgusting. We are in the middle of a global pandemic, at least wiping the inside down would be the right thing to do. There was a sticky substance on the door. steering wheel, and control panel. Would not willingly rent from them again.
