Poor customer service. Tried to drop off a UPS return and they told me the box had to be fully sealed and label taped. When I kindly asked for some clear tape (I mean, this is a craft store right?) I was refused service. Great way to get me to never come back!

I called to ask if they could put a few charcoal pencils on hold at the counter for me, because I don't live close and my mother was in the area. She was in a hurry so I needed them to be held or she couldn't grab them for me. They lady refused (in a rude manor) to place one or two charcoal pencils at the counter. No hospitality and very crappy attitude. As someone who has worked in places similar there is absolutely no reason she couldn't have been nice and done this or said it in a nicer way. I will not return, so glad my mom couldn't stop. Will not recommend to ANYONE. I am an art major and have any art major friends.

If you are looking for custom made bows.. Debbie at Michaels in Washington is the BEST !! I love my candy cane striped Xmas bows she made for my outside garland !!!

So earlier this evening I was at Hobby Lobby. They did not have what I was looking for. So I call Michael's to see if they did. I was told they did, so I drove down the street to get it. I walk in, and tell an employee what I was looking for. I had said that I called, and was told they had it. I was taken to the spot, and IT WAS EMPTY!! She called on the radio to see who took my phone call (again 5 minutes earlier) they said they knew that they carried it, but did not look to see if they had it in stock. Honestly!!! Why would I call if I didn't need it, and why just assume that it's there because you normally carry it? I was livid! The pure laziness that took place is astounding to me! The two stars is simply because I normally have had good experiences from Michael's, and for the associate's honesty of her complete ignorance for a customer's needs. Will I go back? Most likely, but they may be in timeout for a while, and I'll definitely think twice about it.

I like this Michael's. It's more roomy than other Michael's with high ceilings. I like the merchandise here but some of the flowers and crafts look cheap. This location is clean and organized with lots of art supplies, crafts, seasonal and decorative baking items.
