If you value your belongings, DO NOT keep your items here. My unit was one of many victims of burglary in December of 2023. I was informed of this by PSP, never having received communication from RDS. When I called RDS, I was instructed to file a claim with Fontegra, their insurance carrier. After weeks of them requesting a police report, which I cannot obtain as it’s an ongoing investigation and have directed the adjusters as such, they are now telling me they will only pay a fraction of the cost to replace items that were stolen *once they receive a report that will not be available for God knows how long*! These are items used to conduct my business. If you are considering this place to store your items, RUN to another company. If you have items there currently and were not the victim of this recent crime, spare yourself the future aggravation and relocate your goods.

If anyone has a storage unit with red dot on peach st, go check out your units. We stopped by today and ours was broken into, boxes unpacked, stuff thrown around, and multiple things stolen. We called state police and they said there has been 8 reports in the last 6 months and red dot does nothing about it. No cameras by the units, they won't add cameras, they simply don't care. We noticed multiple other storage units that were broken into as well when taking all our stuff out. Everyone should go take their stuff out and stop using that storage unit as they simply don't care about you or your stuff. We called and said if we don't get everything tonight we would be billed for a whole other month and if we don't clean we will be charged $150. All this after having our stuff stolen?!? Horrible company, horrible customer service.

RedDot Storage (in this location) Absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever dealt with. Every time I accessed my parents' unit for them while they were alive & dealing with their estate after they passed, I had to call because there was a random extra lock on my unit. I called, and the 'so-called owners' knew nothing about this. I had to cut off a few locks to even access the unit. Besides the lock issue & a staff that knows nothing about the facility, the rent kept going up on a regular basis. I scheduled the move out date online (completely feed up with the entire facility) for 10/28/2023 (also the last day of my contract with them) and still got text messages, emails, and a collection letter after the unit was vacated. We took pictures the day we moved out in case they tried to come back on us for anything. They said today when I called AGAIN regarding a letter received that the account has been closed... hoping this ends any contact with this horrible facility. I DO NOT recommend this facility to anyone.

Seriously lacking in any sort of security or give a darn by Reddot running it. My unit was broken into, called the company and said hey it looks like other units were broken into and are missing locks as well. May want to have someone come out and look into that and let people know. Told me to mind my own. Pictures are of units just close to where mine was all busted and different units missing locks. Gate is being held closed with ratchet strap. Fence is falling over since last winter. Advertised as having video surveillance, only has three cameras covering the gate and their office. No care about your stuff at all if you are going to use them make sure you have a list of everything you have in your unit and extra insurance. Apparently mine was the 6th call to PA state police about units being robbed in the last two months, owner still won't put up more cameras.

If I could give them less than 1 star, I would.This place is TERRIBLE! Do not waste your time or money!After having 2 units for over two years, my 70-year-old mother discovered there were many leaks in both units, as well as infestation and rodent damage. ALL of her belongings were wet and covered in mold and urine. Thousands of dollars were paid to secure these items. Over 5k to be more accurate.Many neighboring units are in the same predicament, having had their items ruined by water damage and added that Red Dot was aware of the leaks months ago and took no action.There is no office on site and no one to discuss any concerns with. When I was finally able to get someone on the phone to explain what had been going on, they advised the owner was vacationing in Jamaica and that I could get an appointment to meet with a maintenance person. He never showed up for the appointment and left my elderly mother standing in the parking lot. There was no follow-up. I called and the appointment was rescheduled for 10/11 at 11am and again, no one showed up. We were left without answers and management is unresponsive to any requests for assistance.When you call and ask for a supervisor or manager, they tell you they are not allowed to give out this information.Moral of the story : Paid over 5k, all my stuff was ruined and other than suing the business, there is no recourse.Red Dot Erie is a complete and total SCAM!

Don’t put your stuff here. You can’t get ahold of anyone for any reason. They never lock the gate and I just went to add stuff to my storage and mine as well as many other storage units were kicked in and obviously robbed. Yet there is no way to get ahold of anyone from red dot. I have tried on several occasions. Phone, email, chat, no response. It’s obviously someone just collecting money and not caring at all about is customers and their belongings.

Horrible company. Units are broken into, gate is left open, will not respond to customers. They will tell you to call, then no one is there to answer. They probably are breaking into the units themselves. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM

I tried to rent a unit online line but their website wasn't y. I tried going there during " business hours" and no one was there. I called and after being on hold for over 30 minutes finally talked to someone, but when it was time for payment that was down. Needless to say I went elsewhere and in under 20 minutes I had a unit.

I rented the unit online, which all went good. When I went to the facility to start loading up my unit I couldn't access the unit, because my gate code didn't work. 20 minutes on the phone with no lock. The next day iwent back and same deal. 20 more minutes on the phone and the lady was able to get me a temp code. I was then able to access the facility.went to leave and I was stuck inside the gate and had to call again for a temp code. They said it would be 24hrs and my code will be activated. We will see.

The staff is real helpful, the units are clean and sealed well. And they keep up with the snow in the winter.

Inexpensive storage but definitely barebones. 1 unit I rented had water running through it every time it rained and ruined a bunch of my stuff. Mold and mildew on everything!20 days after I moved out of another unit, I am getting late notices for payment which I don't owe and they have restricted my access to a third unit that I am renting because of this. The excuse I am getting is that it is all auto-generated and they haven't inspected the unit I moved out of yet.

Incredible difficult to cancel your storage unit. I called and emailed but was still bothered by emails saying my payment is late and will be sent to a collection agency. I liked the idea of having my stuff stored behind a gate for extra security, but they've left the gate wide open for the last month. I am unsure if it was for plowing or because it is broken but either way it isn't secure. Whoever manages this place doesn't take care of anything.
