One of the most arcane, least transparent booking experiences I've ever had.

First the positives: the hotel grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The front desk (specifically, Ryan) was very professional and efficient with both reservations and check in. The room was average, nothing special, and a bit dirty with several bugs (live and dead) found throughout the room. The guests were fairly well behaved, a bit of ruckus with some families’ children running up and down the hallways but not a tragedy. No tv due to the outage and hotel offered nothing as compensation for this inconvenience. A small cafe on site but no other notable food options; however, plenty of options a short drive away. We were disappointed in the hotel not offering a discount to the families affected by the PECO power outage who were forced to stay in local hotels. Due to the storm and power outage, these hotels (including The Inn at Villanova) were at max capacity for at least Friday and Saturday nights, possibly longer, and were making unforeseen profits off the suffering of others. The very least they could have offered would have been a discount to families who were affected by the power outage. I would expect better from a Catholic organization.

What a jewel! This was our first, though certainly not our last visit to this property. We were there for a family celebration, and everything came off without a hitch.
The grounds are beautiful and exceptionally well-kept. It was a great to sit on my balcony in the morning, listening to birds and watch deer walk slowly by.

We had a deeply frustrating experience at the Inn at Villanova. Upon check-in, the front desk informed us that a large and noisy wedding party would be arriving and offered to refund our room if we chose not to stay. The room they offered was right at the entrance and the front desk insisted that it would be noisy and we can get a refund if we decided not to stay. Based on that assurance, we decided to leave. Despite this clear agreement, we were still charged. When we followed up, they told us they had “changed their mind.” This is completely unacceptable and dishonest. We trusted their word and were misled. We will not be returning, and we caution others to get everything in writing if you stay here.

I recently traveled to the area to attend the breakfast with Santa event. Not only did it run smoothly, but the breakfast was absolutely delicious! So many options to choose from, even my picky eater was satisfied! My personal favorite was the breakfast potatoes (I’ll be dreaming of those for weeks to come).Kathy made sure we didnt miss any of the activities, Brian checked in to see if we needed anything, and Chef Glickman and Colbert went out of their way to check in on how the food was. The staff was welcoming and patient, resulting in a wonderful event.I highly recommend! Totally worth the trip, if you aren’t local.

We were here for a wedding and stayed overnight.I'm an executive chef, which doesn't mean I'm more critical, it just means I can usually tell what is really going on behind the scenes. I can tell if they are buying in a product or making it from scratch and I have a good sense of just how hard it is to produce certain menus.I gotta say that everything at the Inn was fantastic. It's hard to genuinely impress me, but these guys did it. They didn't miss a beat. Everything was hot, delicious, well prepared. The service staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and all around great.Everything we had. From breakfast to snacks to dinner was amazing. Every time. The rooms were also fantastic. Well taken care of, clean, modern.I highly highly recommend this place.

Old but updated rooms in this traditional University Inn. Close to campus, but not walkable distance. Very good service. Bar/Cafe on site. Balconies on each room. The rooms in the back side of the building have a nice view of the surroundings.

The staff were stellar. No coffee maker in the room. The room was luxurious and had a refrigerator with a freezer. There was a door to a patio with tables and chairs. The expresso machine was broken in the cafeteria. Regular coffee was good. There is a library and a gym.

The Inn at Villanova exceeded our expectations. Surrounded by nature, gardens and the idyllic area of Villanova, the rooms and common areas are bright and modern, with great amenities. They still retain the Augustinian spirit. Enjoyed working outside on the room patio.

Location was a little hard to get in and out from but it served its purpose for a work conference. They have some construction going on and updating the interior plus nearby road work but overall it was a pretty nice place.

This is a beautiful mansion next to the conference center at Villanova University. The atmosphere is outstanding. Good food, good friends. A lovely experience!

We stayed at the Inn at Villanova during a recent college visit. The grounds are lovely and fun to explore! The room was very clean and had a balcony overlooking the gardens and mansion. The location is ideal for a visit to Bryn Mawr, Haverford, or, of course, Villanova. There is coffee service in the morning with the option to purchase breakfast sandwiches. The service was good but very little information was given about the amenities. We would definitely return to this hotel if we are in the area.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at The Inn while visiting family in the area. Our room was well appointed and spotless, the reception staff was friendly and welcoming and the grounds are beautiful. I would highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning in the future.
