Store Manager (a brunette lady) made shoppers EXTREMELY uncomfortable by encouraging check out staff to FORCE buyers to apply for their credit card. The cashier basically STOPPED processing my transaction and demanded that I apply for their credit card. She refused to take my card for minutes on end and the store manager joined in this farce; encouraging her to repeatedly stall my transaction, and not bring up the payment screen. This happened on April 4 between 11a and 2p. I have never seen foolishness like this. If I was the regional leader I would literally fire this store manager and immediately reassign the cashier to a different role.
Poor customer service. Rude store manager. Rude cashiers. Long lines because of unnecessary card pitches. Insensitive leaders. Bad shopping experience. Do not shop at this store, go online instead.

Found a couple of accessories for the home that were just what I was looking for. They have pretty much everything here. Found rugs, shoes, sweatshirts, and dog bowls.

Been shopping here for decades.After standing in line today for 15 min. Finally getting to the one cashier, my total was $18.01. I searched for a penny. Didn’t have one. With all of the Pennie’s I have given there between not wanting the change or rounding up to the next dollar, you would think the cashier would just find one or let it go. No, she hands me 99 cents. The lady behind me hands her a penny and the cashier said. Too late. The sale already went thru and the drawer is closed.Really????????

Michael was very patient while dealing with complications with my return. He was also very efficient when it came to checkout on my additional purchases. His soft spoken manner was a delight. I would recommend this TJ Maxx for his customer service alone!!

Would give 0 but can't submit without a star. Worst TJ Max ever. Store is sloppy, very poor selection, always a line ridiculous long line to check out, and very poorly managed. Stay away. Worth the drive to St. David's location.

I visited TJ Maxx today, and while the shopping experience was enjoyable, I had an unsettling encounter with a cashier named Samiya. She repeatedly pushed me to sign up for what is advertised as a “credit card,” despite my polite declines. It’s clear that the card is labeled as a credit card, both on the sign behind her and in their marketing materials.When I expressed my concerns about already having too many credit cards, she responded condescendingly, insisting that it’s not a credit card but a “rewards card.” Samiya proceeded to explain its benefits, all while I was looking at the sign that contradicted her words. Her scripted approach seemed designed to mislead customers, which is both unethical and concerning.I believe it’s important for businesses to be transparent and respectful of their customers. Pushing people into financial commitments they might not fully understand is simply wrong. I hope TJ Maxx reevaluates its sales tactics to ensure that customers aren’t pressured into something they don’t want or need. Shopping should be a positive experience, not marred by misleading tactics.
