About Antietam Humane Society
The Antietam Humane Society is a private, non-profit animal shelter and a loving and caring protector of animals. It takes in close to 2,000 animals each year as strays, surrenders, transfers, and cruelty seizures, working to ensure positive outcomes with a high save-rate. The facility is noted for its cleanliness. The society does a wonderful job helping animals in need find a home and a safe place. It provides a low-cost spay/neuter clinic and rabies vaccine clinics to help the community and with pet overpopulation. It also offers a pet food bank, lifetime registered microchipping, and more. All animals available for adoption are spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccines. The society also assists injured animals, providing humane assessment and care. Many visitors note the super friendly cats and dogs and express interest in adoption. Supporters also enjoy the Treat app, a fun way to help feed the dogs residing at the shelter.

I haven't been here ever but love playing Treat for them. I do hope so badly Jojo gets adopted. I know it's weird but from the pictures they look like a kind soul.

Our first impression was how clean they kept the kennel. We now have a new addition to the family and can't be more happier. We definitely recommend a visit if you are looking for an addition to the family.
