We bought an electric Chevy Bolt a month and a half ago. After completing all of the paperwork, we waited for the car to be charged and detailed. I was smiling ear-to-ear in our new Chevy in the driver's seat saying good bye to our salesman, when I asked about the charging cord. The charge cord was missing. They couldn't find the cord. They said to come back tomorrow for the cord. Bummer. We waited the next day, no charge cord, no new car. They said it would be in the next day and they would deliver the car to us the second day. Finally our salesman called and eventually arrived with our new car and charge cable. The next day an alert on the dash showed a dangerously underinflated right rear tire. We called our salesman. The tires were inflated with nitrogen. Our salesman said it was OK to pump the tire up with air. So I did, every 3 days. Obviously there was a problem. Fast forward a month and a half. The day we purchased our new Bolt, we were told that we qualified for an incentive for $500.00 worth of free charges at EV GO charge stations. That paperwork would be sent to us in a matter of days with all of the corresponding GM financial loan documents. We waited. Weeks later, the EV GO free electric credit paperwork never showed up. We called our salesman. He apologized for not receiving the EV GO documents. They were never filed. The salesman submitted the paperwork again to claim the $500.00 free electric EV GO charges. It turned out those papers were filed to claim a rebate on a home charger installation. Wrong! We called Buchanan again. Our salesman no longer works at Buchanan Chevrolet. We called GM. Nikki from GM called Buchanan and corrected the paperwork for the EV GO $500.00 credit. We would receive a code to claim the EV GO credit in a matter of days. No code or credit has been sent to us. The right rear tire never held air for more than 3 days. No credits ever came. We called Buchanan again. Destiny tried to help. She made an appointment for Saturday at Buchanan to fix the tire problem. She also tried to reinstate the EV GO credit. We arrived at 2:00pm at Buchanan with our new Chevy Bolt. I went to the service manager. I told him about the tire and the appointment made by Destiny. He said he could put air in lt but we'd have to make an appointment to bring it back for service. I told him that we came from WV and Destiny made our appointment for our leaking tire yesterday for Saturday. He wasn't happy. He said pull it in. I asked if he'd let us know when it was ready. He had an attitude, not a people person. We waited one hour, no word. We asked the unhappy service manager again if it would be ready soon. He said he only had one person working in the "shop". After an hour and 45 minutes later with no word, I went in and said I'd help the one guy plug the tire if it would hurry up the repair. He said it was being fixed. At 5 minutes before closing time my car was driven out front by the one-guy service department. We got in our car 2 hours later to drive it home. The service manager came to the car and said, "normally they charge for tire repair and it was not covered, but he would not charge us". I asked what the charge would have been. He said, $50.00. I said, " thanks and I'll add that to the YELP review". In summary, our tire is holding air now. ONE STAR! We are still waiting for a code number to claim our EV GO free $500 .00 of charges at EV GO. Buchanon Chevrolet is very unorganized and they are not credible. We have been told so many different things that have never happened. There is no captain on that ship. No one takes responsibility to follow through on promises. There is NO PROBLEM SOLVER. The M.O. at Buchanan is to "pass the buck". Our original salesman, Freddy, who is no longer employed at Buchanan was the only credible person at the dealership. We would never have bought the new car with an additional extended warranty from Buchananon if we had known they were so unorganized and careless.

I had a light on my dash that indicated a problem with my airbags in the 2008 Jeep Liberty. I had to call 2 times to actually get someone on the phone that could perhaps give me a ball park price on repairing the problem that my mechanic told me it was. My current mechanic felt it would be best to go the the dealer for this issue. Got a gal on the phone in service that gathered a lot of info but then told me "it's best if you bring it in to us to diagnose." I had given her the codes and told her what my mechanic said, bu that fell on deaf ears. She wanted to sell me a module and see if that would fix the problem. Total waste of time and I had such high hopes for this dealership. They are no better than any other Jeep dealership, they just want you to pay an exorbitant amount for a diagnosis and then rape me again with the repair.

Bait and switch! Quotes a low price and then hits you with add ons out of nowhere. Won't provide a written quote...only wants to communicate verbally or via text message. Avoid....The sticker price is only a starting point...they will tell you that all dealer added options are a non negotiable...like $1000+ "nano" paint protection....installed in ALL their vehicles, tracking devices, also dealer installed on ALL their vehicles, $90 Nitro filled tires on ALL their vehicles....AVOID Avoid AVOID!!!

Don't buy a vehicle here. Bought a vehicle 4 years ago with cash. Went to sell it but was told by Pendot that there was a line on the car. Called Buchanan's title clerk she said she would get a letter from the previous owners finance company but didn't do. So nowI am dealing with this myself. Also expect multiple calls a month from them soliciting your business. Bad business.

Will have to kick myself for not paying attention to the reviews. Made arrangements and an appointment to meet with the sales rep and purchase a 2022 ram tradesman 2500. When I was in route 45 minutes before my appointment I received a phone call to tell me that they sold the truck, but they had something else they wanted me to look at. Felt very much like this was a bait and switch and must say I was very disappointed in how the sales rep handled the situation, and that their attitude was very much take it or leave it.

Extremely rude girl in sales ... acts like customers are bothering her and when she was asked for a manager she referred one of her apparent friends who was awful ... Not only nasty but down right condescending

This is by far the worst dealership in America!!! We made the mistake of not looking at these reviews before going here. Where do I start, #1, they tried bait and switch but that didn't work, so they added on extras to get the price back up that now we see we're already on the vehicle. Not to mention the truck was never inspected for emissions etc. They'll be hearing from us through a myriad of communication to rectify this situation. Buyer Beware!!! DO NOT BUY FROM BUCHANAN!!!

I don't even want to give them 1 star. On July 7, 2022 I had an appointment to see a car. I live an hour away and they called just as I was leaving to say the car could not be viewed because it was being "processed". However, they still wanted me to come in and put money down on a car I wasn't allowed to see. For the last 4 weeks I have texted with their internet sales team who promised me that I get first dibs on coming to see the car once it was processed. They also promised a salesperson would call me to discuss financing. I received an email from Car GuRus that they had sold the car! Just last week they said the car was not ready. When I asked about what happened they said, "we had alot of interest". No apologies for stringing me along. Now, they keep texting and harassing me to come see the new 2023 corvette! I would NEVER recommend them - ever! From ever text to phone call, I was lied to.

I have never experienced such treatment when car buying as I have with this place. I had been in contact with the dealership, sales manager, & car salesman. They had all my info ran & knew I was making a 5 hour drive to get a specific vehicle. I was over halfway there with cash in hand to get a call to let me know they already sold it out from under me. Then they said they could order me that one to have it for me in 10-12 weeks after they sold it out from me! Not only did I waste time, but I wasted gas as well. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone I know. I will make sure everyone knows what kinda place this is, how you do people who would've been loyal customers, & to never buy a thing from here!!! You've lost the business of someone who would've been a repeat customer for life even with the 5 hour drive I had each way. Thanks for being so helpful to me and letting me drive all those miles, all that time, and use all that gas for an absolute waste!

I expected the reviews I'm seeing after speaking with two female customer support specialist that would not allow me to speak with the sales manager after being extremely rude and short on the phone. Glad I found out before wasting my time with these shysters.

I can't stand this place... I tried to buy a vehicle from them and they kept coming up with all sorts of add-ons Nano paint technology Antitheft etching on the parts You only get a discount if you use their financing company Place is total BS.... You offer him a price and it's not the price because if you look at the fine print there's more on their webpage.... These people give the industry the reputation it has .... Crooks Trying to take advantage of people.

This was absolutely the worst auto buying experience I ever had. They bait you in with low advertising then the games begin. Typical shell games here folks. I visited four other dealerships who valued my trade all within $3000.00. The head clown at this circus came back valuing my trade $16000.00 less than the lowest offer. If you value your time, trust me because this dealership does not. Go down the road another twenty five minutes for a more pleasant buying experience. I would rate this dealership no stars if possible.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Wasted 2 days of our time telling us we were approved and then when we get in to sign the paperwork all of sudden our approval didn't happen. Don't let them waste your time too. Go anywhere else
