“Love this mom-and-pop store -- it is a very important part of the community and important to so many people who cannot or choose not to frequent the large chain stores . It is no surprise that the Sanders family are all wonderful people.”
“Hess's has quality fruits and vegetables...all fresh and reasonably priced. Their peaches are worth our drive from Pittsburgh. We make the trip twice a year and load up! The market is clean and well stocked.”
“The cherries I picked tasted phenomenal. Also, they taste better than the cherries at grocery stores. Also, they allow cherry picking rain or shine which is awesome.”
“This is one of the only places that sells whole milk chocolate milk! At the age of 70 I have tried many brands.... Aldi's carries the best. The cheese section, fruits and veggies are fresh and less expensive. It's also a perfect place to find your side dishes. One last item, their spices are completely on par with the McCormick brand. And far less expensive.”
“Rinehart's has a cold storage for apples, you can buy fresh fruit year round at wonderful prices. Many different veritys, friendly, helpful service as well!”
“Great, local produce and meats. They make homemade....everything and it is delicious. Deserts, pre-made meals etc. Fresh milk from the creamery, soft serve ice cream and milkshakes, a beautiful greenhouse with annual and perennials and a large selection of house plants. (Most in my photo are from Paul's.) The staff at Paul's are friendly and knowledgeable and willing to help make your visit enjoyable.”
