This place has currently very limited hours of operation. It drew our attention because we visited the Gallery 50 in Bridgeton NJ and we liked it as well. They may or may not be at all connected but the character is the same. Nice art gallery - a place to see the work of local artists and for art collectors to buy art as well.

Lovely atmosphere and It's so fun to go in and look at all the unique art that you wouldn't always find in a small town!

Gallery 50 is one of the best art galleries in Waynesboro. The artwork comes in many forms: oil, cold wax, mixed media, acrylic, jewelry, pottery, and books. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxing. You are able to stroll around and enjoy all the pieces, or just the ones that really speak to you. I found one that reminded me of winter time and brought back such great memories, that it is now permanently part of my life.

This is truly a wonderful place, filled with beautiful art, including paintings, photographs, jewelry, pottery, fiber art, sculpture, art note cards, books by local authors, and much more. Every Friday year round from 5:30 pm - 8 pm there is free live music, featuring some of the best musicians in the tri-state area, covering a wide variety of muaical styles. And there are three other galleries within one block of Gallery 50 including 42 West Arts Co-op, Thru the Lens & Beyond, and the Ceramic Arts Center of Waynesboro. Plus the Cumberland Valley School of Music and the brand new Music Makers Community Music Center. Live music and other performing arta are also presented outside on Fridays in Center Square along and occasionally on Saturdays and Sundays. Downtown Waynesboro is definitely worth checking out over the weekends!
