I really want this to be a good review but I have to be honest. In the store at Waynesboro, PA location it isn't too bad, though I can rarely find help I know the store well enough to be dangerous so it works out. That has to be because they have a REALLY good merchandising team. Using the app I can always find what I need where it's supposed to be. HOWEVER, the installation services -- just don't do it. They are expensive, non responsive, crazy slow, make TONS of mistakes, do not own those mistakes and essentially ignore you -- they just want their money they don't appear to care one bit about customer service or the results of the installation. We purchased a deck at the end of August. The estimate for completion was this week, but because they failed actually assign us to contractor until I called a good 5 times to ask what heck was up -- the company didn't get the permit until a few weeks ago. And because they're busy, which I understand, they can't even try to start until December 5. And if/when the weather is bad - it'll be delayed again. NOT their fault, to be clear, I have no issues with the contractor who will perform the install. This is all planning and sales with Lowe's that go screwed up. This is the deal - if you want to spend a lot of money, be ignored and don't mind waiting possibly a good 6 months for your installation - use Lowe's. If you would like more peronsalbe service just go to the local construction companies in our area directly. That's who will do the work anyway - get rid of the middle man, I promise you'll be better off. I would give anything to go back in time and contract directly with the local company.

Have had serious customer service issues and lota of wasted time with this location--its closest to my house. Just called to check if they have box of wood b4 I drive there, flooring we bought at another Lowes location, Noone answered upon voice menu answering and transferring to flooring dept, customer service answered after awhile, transferred it back to flooring dept. and ring, ring, ring until it disconnected.

I visited Lowes earlier this summer and noted that they were very reluctant to impose the mask and social distancing policies mandated by the state of PA. On July 20th Lowes mandated all customers were required to wear face covers yet went I visited the Waynesboro PA store there were at least 5 persons not wearing any form of face covering wandering the store and no one seemed to care. Apparently Lowes is not at all serious about protecting the law abiding customers. Maybe it is isolated to the Waynesboro store.

Just went to Lowe's looking for a few thing decided to get some plants, on the clearance stand was 3 half dead bonsai trees among multiple other dead plants NONE of which had actual clearance stickers on them (seems to be a reoccurring thing here) so I bring one to the cashier and told him it was on the clearance stand with others the exact same but didn't know the price he scanned it and it came up full price($24.99) two ladies were standing behind him so he asked them and the older lady does not even check anything or call anyone to check she looks at me and said "someone must have misplaced them" "it's $24.99" mind you the tree has maybe 3 leafs on it. 3 employees there at one register and not a single one went to check or even offered. Ridiculous how purely lazy people can be. Bad customer service.

This has been the most disappointing buying process I have ever been through. I have an estimate in my hands for $4000 worth of flooring and can't get waited on to pay for it. This is my fourth trip and I have yet to catch up with Ryan. Three times in a row Ryan is at lunch and will be back in 10 minutes. The first time I paced around the flooring department for a half hour then left an came back an hour never did find him. Similar events the next two times. I'm done with Lowes. I will buy my flooring at a local flooring store. The extra cost is worth it to get away from this place. Terrible service Dave B

The place isn't as bad as people wish to make it. The staff are friendly, it's relatively well stocked and despite the quietness of the store (it's in the sticks) there are usually two tills open if not more. It is s big chain so yes you won't get the same level of service as a mom and pop store. But folk don't want to pay mom and pop prices so this is what we get. Massively better than Home Depot.

Don't know why Lowe's has employees; to stock the shelves I guess. Have been to Lowe's 3 time to shop for appliance. Each time I waited a long time to get service. . .then disappointed with salesperson ability to answer questions. Each time, left disappointed and went elsewhere. 3 strike rule here. . .

Second trip to this Lowes and was just as disappointed as my first visit. I really miss the Lowes back in MD. I had a list and came away with nothing. I needed a chainsaw and they had one. One! I guess if it had met my needs I would have been fine, but it didn't. I needed cabinet bumper pads, and scouring the cabinet department only came up with electronic component pads. Close, but again did not work. Plumbing - a complete miss for the cpvc spigot I needed. None. Just bought a house in the area and have many projects, so it looks like Home Depot in Hagerstown is where I'm going next.

Went to lowes for replacement hand held shower head and sliding bar. The guy in plumbing looked like he had no clue, he also had an attitude like why are you bothering me. He didn't seem to know the stock and was very confused by any questions. I replaced the Moen with a Delta because he told me no new holes were needed to be drilled, the Delta used a suction technology to hold it to the shower wall. After opening I found this to be wrong, still need to drill holes to anchor it. Also wanted two louvered blinds cut, that only took a hour because no one knew how to do it. I used to trust Lowes but now it is a joke.

Install department created home chaos... That's right! Ordered carpet on 12/15, promised to be in on 1/4. I agreed to do the demo myself to save money, so I pulled up 1500 square ft of carpet, padding and staples on 1/2&3. On 1/7 hadn't heard from them so I called, they had forgotten to call me on 12/31 when a production delay occurred! Me and my 3 little kids lived on OSB sub floors and tack strip for 6 weeks until the install. What did I get out of it you ask? A call from the installer informing me there was a 200$ upcharge to move furniture, which I had done to do the demo, but put back so my kids had a place to sleep... Lowe's got them to waive the upcharge, but reneged on their promise to discount me 15% on my bill (they said it was on the carpet, not carpet and install). The kicker? I got s Lowe's charge bill with a $108 finance charge even though I was told it was 0% for 18 months. Had to pay it all off to waive the charge... Thanks for crappy service, Lowe's, I will be cutting up my card and never shopping there again ($5000 dollars later)! Oh, and the installer screwed up the padding, and apparently soon 1500 square feet of carpet have to be pulled up and redone so as not to void the warranty... Never never never use Lowe's Install if you aren't into hassles!
