“Eric is someone you look for in this business. He is someone you can trust. Good news or bad news he is honest, he will always go the extra mile, and the work he does is quality. I once had an issue with an older car I bought that 3 other shops couldn’t figure out. They all charged me too much money for surface level fixes that didn’t eliminate the problem. Eric spent a lot of time on my car (honestly way longer than what he charged me for) performing all kinds of tests trying to figure out the problem. Because he said he would run a diagnostic and find out why my car was acting up, he did. He is a man of his word. There is a difference between a mechanic that identifies possible causes of a problem and tests them to identify the root of the issue, and a mechanic that just tells you whatever the OBD scan tool says. At this shop they are the former. Nothing but good things to say about them. My car was 13 years old when I brought it to them, it’s now 18 years old. Haven’t had an issue with it since. He doesn’t take long with repairs either. Because he is thorough, though, charges a fair price, and people like him, don’t expect them to be able to turn you around in the same day. Keep that in mind when it comes to scheduling.”

“A wonderful experience here at pope tire, they allowed me to purchase my own part needed to fix my truck and to be delivered there as well. They allowed my truck to be towed there and to sit in the lot for days while I went on the search for the part I needed. They fixed it in a very timely fashion of only a few hours which was great for the fix that was needed. The ladies at the front desk one being Shaun was super kind, helpful and informative with me my whole experience. “This business owner is honest, helpful and does excellent work. We were moving our daughter on a Sat night in Sept 2022. The transmission in our Suburban went out and we were stuck over an hour away from home. All shops were closed, but someone recommended Waynesboro Transmission to help us.
