She’s the Aunt Cheryl to my Uncle Sam.
I have been going to Cheryl for years to have my annual taxes done, even after moving two hours away from her business. She is kind, funny, concise, and quick at what she does! AND, bonus, she has never judged me for taking a little treat from the candy bowl they have, even though it’s presumably for children. I 10/10 recommend. Love that woman.

Basic Tax Accounting has prepared my tax returns for over fifteen years. The receptionist and employees have been very professional and cordial. They have provided valuable tax advice, prepared and submitted my tax returns promptly. The employees make me feel valued and respected. Their tax knowledge and services are "second to none."

Basic Tax Accounting in Waynesburg, PA doesn't even deserve one star. My own experience at this place is zero stars. The owner, Cheryl Semonick has a bad attitude, very rude, unprofessional, and makes several mistakes. Cheryl doesn't know what she is doing. I felt a very sketchy vibe from Cheryl, the staff, and her shady business.

Basic Tax:Cheryl is one of the nicest and friendliest person you will ever meet. She is very fluent in her profession. She takes the time to go over all your taxes to ensure that you get the best possible refund available to you. Her staff is very kind and acknowledge about what they are doing and yes if she need more documents to make your taxes right she will ask you to get them. She would rather take the time and get it right then the IRS tell you it’s wrong. I worked for Cheryl in 2015 and all I can say about her is she is simply amazing. I am so proud to call her my friend. She will go above and beyond to call of duty. If I’m ever living back in PA I will definitely ask Cheryl for a job.

When Cheryl did something wrong and our NEW accountant was texting us while we were with her trying to explain what she needed to do to fix it, we got eye rolls and her saying “well I can’t talk to him” like what??????? You’re the one who messed it up????? Fix the mistake YOU made without an attitude.

Cheryl is awful. Rude, unprofessional & doesn’t know what she’s doing. Gave us a hard time and I actually had to help her do her job. She needs to either retire or QUIT
