“Great staff, plenty +o offer everything is LITERALLY $1 per item. Plenty to choose from too! Kids toys, everything to throw a party, dog&cat treats&items. Decorations, crafts/paints, laundry baskets& detergents, literally everything, hygiene /personal care, gift wrap, frozen/dry foods, snacks, balloons. I love it there!!”
“It goes without saying that if you find yourself in the Penfield, PA area you already know that there isn't much here. Enter this new-ish Dollar General to help fill the void. I needed some charcoal for my glamping experience over at Parker Dam State Park. I struck out up the road at the Minit Mart but they told me that this DG should have what I was looking for. I walked in and sho'nuff there is a Kingsford display in the outside foyer before you even get fully into the store. I picked up my two bags and walked inside. No one was at the register but they have this lovely plastic pig on the counter which has a sign on it that says something to the effect of "Squeeze me for service." Two oinks later and I was in business. The associate quickly rang me up and I was on my way. I have no idea what else is in the store as I have never been in a Dollar General in my life and I never got past the register in this one. They had what I needed, the store looked new and the service was fast. Perfect. (Open daily 8am-10pm)”
“Very friendly employees. I always feel welcomed and that I'm in a safe environment. One time they wouldn't let me leave the store because of a severe weather alert for the area. Sure enough a funnel cloud had formed during that time less than 1 mile away.”

“End of May 2020 Covid running amuck. First trip to camp cause of Quarantine. Stopped in for a few camp supplies. Asked young man if by chance if any hard to find sanitary Clorox wipes were in stock. He said actually we just got some enthusiasticly . He said not even unpacked yet but I'll get u some. Management kids like this are few and far between. Approx 6 weeks have now gone by..I may have his name wrong but think it was Ronnie. Sorry if wrong. What a kid..stressful times for all us.He went above and beyond with a GREAT AURA & ATTITUDE. Thank you.”
