One of the nicest Holiday Inn Express locations I have ever been to. Newly renovated, great staff and good breakfast. For the money this is hard to beat.

Front desk people were very nice and efficient. Room with two queens is compact but clean. Towels are thick, water pressure could be better. Dove liquid soap and hand cream are nice. Refrigerator, Keurig, typical room. Breakfast had the usual variety with cheese omelette pre-made and sitting in steamer, meat, Greek yogurt, hard boiled eggs, a few kinds of cold cereal, bagels and toast but the pancake maker wasn't working.

This needs to be stated so no one else who isn't privy to this info stays here, but even if you book directly through IHG the website fails to mention they're currently under construction (stayed Nov 2023), they DON'T offer breakfast, just some bagged food, which i didn't indulge in so can't say what all is inside, the pool isn't open, and most importantly THEY HAVE NO SUITES WITH A JETTED TUB or additional living space, so don't waste your money booking it. I ONLY booked a room recently because of my bad back, and couldn't wait to relax in the jetted tub. I arrive, notice all the construction, but I was unfazed, because as long as my room was clean and had the tub, nothing else mattered. I can honestly say the rooms look really nice for a 2 star hotel, love that they use Dove products, as my skin is sensitive and I only use that or Oil of Olay, the shade is really funky and cute, better than curtains, nice furniture and wall paper, etc; I think most hotels should move to no carpet, but theirs was the kind you could clean easily as least, no complaints about the room in particular, EXCEPT I PAID FOR A SUITE, AND WAS PUT IN A BASIC, KING ROOM!! I'm beginning to think they have no manager, as the manager was supposed to speak with me upon checkout, I head to the front desk at 10:50am, and was told the manager won't be in until 2pm. So I expected to hear something by then and nothing. I'm not chasing this manager around, so I'm going through IHG but this experience will likely deter me from booking through IHG ever again, a third party website would've handled this expeditiously, especially when the error was not mine, but it seems my issue is of no concern. Customer service is lacking! They really should inform people of all the changes. Otherwise, their website is FALSELY ADVERTISING!!!!

Worst experience of my entire life. They gave us the wrong room on our wedding night and after that and seeing how disgusting the hotel was due to renovations that were NOT disclosed prior to signing a contract, we decided to leave and they refused to make it right. They broke the contract by saying there'd be a pool and gym when they were in fact closed by the renovations. The front desk said it was the sales teams fault by not letting us know about the renovations, but there was still nothing they would do. We got the run around for two days before they refused to refund the room. The hotel was dirty and the workers are incompetent. Please do not go there ever. 0/10 would not recommend

Not real fair to rate but need to. This hotel must have been recently purchased. There is a large scale remodel that is currently underway. Lots of dust and debris plus noise. The rooms that are finished are well done but too much distraction.

Fridge and coffee maker didn't work. Called to desk, but they wouldn't help. Wasn't entirely clean- most noticably in bathroom. Kids above us (not hotel rooms) screaming, etc. Well into night.

By far the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. The “renovations” were beyond an inconvenience… they were gutting all the rooms in the hotel, it looked like a bomb went off. Very loud construction all day 2ft from my door. Rooms were run down, got locked out of my own bathroom at 3am cause the door handle fell off. Hotel should be closed, this was unbearable. Wish I picked literally any other hotel in the area.

Stayed here overnight after visiting Longwood Gardens. I was fortunate to get one of the newly renovated rooms, and they are very nice, bright and modern. The rate is very reasonable, and staff are friendly. Breakfast is OK but not spectacular. They are still renovating so be mindful of the work going on. The location is close to many stores and restaurants so easy to pick up things you might have forgotten. Even though it's by a busy road, I didn't hear much noise. Overall a good stay at an affordable price.

Hotel room was nice. However, when I got to the hotel at 1 am the front desk man was sleeping on the couch, I rang the doorbell but wasn't able to get in the hotel until I woke him up. I stayed here June 27, 2023. There is construction going on in the entire hotel. If you stay here you WILL be woken up at 7 am to the sounds of construction going on in the rooms. I was never able to fall back asleep and the worker would not move to a different floor. Good luck if you're staying here anytime soon....

First, the manager/?owner? said they are going to be renovating the hotel. I'm on the third floor and I see that they are beginning to. The gym is temporarily closed but the indoor pool is open. There is a 24hour gym and a Starbucks next door. Our current rooms, we have two, are clean, with a microwave and a coffee maker. It's not high-end but we came here for a soccer tournament with the team and for our purposes, it's fine. There is a complimentary breakfast and a place to buy snacks in the lobby. The staff is very nice and very accommodating. And they let me check into 2 rooms earlier than I was supposed to. That's why I gave it 4 stars. The staff is 5 stars and the accommodations are more like 2.5 stars. Hopefully after the remodel, that will go up.

From the outside, the hotel looks nice. First impression was that the hallway floor was very dirty. I looked at the room, and there were unfinished repairs made to the bathroom drywall, stains on the curtains, and only 3 towels in the bathroom. Three towels would be fine if my family had three people. When I asked the front desk associate for an additional towel set, I was told that the manager was very concerned about theft, and she would only be allowed to give me 1 and was very hesitant to give it to me. After this, my family went to the pool. Again, there was a shortage of towels, and I needed more. The associate did give me an additional pool towel, but only after expressing my discontent about the situation.I am hesitant to post this review before spending the night. Not because I feel the situation will get better and management will redeem themselves, but because I feel there may be much more to post in the morning.I look forward to hearing from the quality assurance team from this hotel chain to provide feedback that may help the next customer.

I got there a little after check in time and my room was ready. The front desk manager Lyra was great and the check in was smooth. Breakfast has a good assortment of foods and wasn't overly crowded. The room I was given had a sofa bed for extra room, and the sofa was quite comfortable. The hotel is undergoing renovations so will only look better once they get them completed.

I absolutely will not stay at this property again. I travel a lot and spend a lot of nights on the road as a Diamond member for both IHG and Hilton. In all my years, this is my first bad review of any property. To start with, it took this long in my life (in my 50's) to see my first bed bug. Absolutely disgusting. I realize this can happen to anyone. The next thing was the bracket that holds the shampoo, conditioner and body wash was unhooked and completely out empty. I didn't notice obviously until in the shower and had to just use the bar of soap. It makes me wonder how often house keeping even services the whole room.I did have the young mad come up from the front desk to see both issues, as I didn't want to walk a cup with a bed bug in it to the counter in front of others. He was very apologetic and handled the situation as well as he could. He said the owner would be in shortly and he would make sure I get contacted and taken care of. Anything to show they were sorry and valued my business would have been nice, but I never heard a word. Anyway, there are plenty of hotel choices, so I would avoid this one.
