The hotel is in a great location and the little side bar sitting area is really nice. The parking garage was $26 a night which is outrageous. Luckily there is a parking garage 2 minutes away. Our room was a bit odd looking, very red, which wasn't very settling or welcoming. View wasn't great even though we were on the top floor. Beds were moderately comfortable and room was clean. They also put us in a room that was next to one of the front desk people and she was coming and going at 2-4 AM and woke us up multiple times.Overall I think it's a good value and close location but the new hotel going in down the street will be where everyone stays eventually.

Stayed at this hotel about 5 years ago and had a bed experience then but thought I would give it a try again. A deception on their part: I show up at 8pm and park in the parking lot. I was already parked in their garage and in the lobby with all my gear and she tells me it is a $25 charge to park in their garage or I can park in the municipal lot a couple of blocks away. I ask her how would I have known that in advance (was not on the site when making a reservation nor in the email confirmation I received) and she doesn't have an answer, just keeps explaining my choices. I am not happy at this point but have all my gear and ready to settle in the room so I tell her I will deal with it in the morning. I speak with the manager on duty in the morning. He was very uncaring. Said it is on the website under amenities (I just looked and it says " Parking is quite very convenient onsite and offsite The Hotel Warner and Suites property). After more trying to explain to him and asking for a credit, he tells me in a slightly rude tone that I chose to park there and there is nothing he can do about it. I told him I would not be staying there again and he said that is my choice. Granted at this point it was not about the $$ but the principal, I think they should point it out clearly in advance. Also, when I tried to get in from the parking lot I to needed to ring the bell as I did not have a key yet. No answer. I walk through the alley to the front door and go to the front desk. Still no one. After 5 minutes a person shows up chewing something and talking on the phone. She bounces back and forth between checking me in and her conversation on the phone.Other issues: beds uncomfortable & pillows lumpy, fitness area only had one out dated bike and treadmill. Woke up to the trash dumpsters being emptied right outside my room at 6am. Just an all around bad experience. Will not be staying there again.

We used Hotel Warner as my hotel block for our wedding on December 29, 2023. We had a block for two nights. I loved working with Hotel Warner! Drew, the operations manager, was so easy to work with while setting up the Hotel block, and he was so helpful when I had any questions for him regarding my hotel block! When we checked in, we had no problems, and while the bridal party was getting ready for the wedding , the hotel was very receptive and accommodating to any of our needs that we had! :) The bar in the hotel stayed open for us the night of the rehearsal dinner, and then the hotel staff didn't care at all that we basically threw an impromptu after party in the lobby after the wedding since the bars were way more packed than we expected them to be. Hotel Warner is just a cute Hotel right downtown West Chester that is surrounded by a little bit of everything!Thank you for hosting us! -The Rileys :)

Had very poor interactions with staff especially manager who would not answer any calls or come out to speak in person, answered emails days lateThe woman who checked me did not clearly go over policies.I checked in because my apartment door was jammed 1/16 at night, and I received a call from my landlord saying I could be let in, right after I got into the hotel room. I went back down and explained that I did not get to use the hotel room and was having a bad night, to which she said I could possibly receive a refund. I called and went in person asking for the manager, noticing the security deposit, which had not been told to me. Then, I asked if I could recieve a refund the desk staff told me I would receive one in 2-3 days and her manager was aware of my situation and sympatheitc. The manager Lisa Stephens, who I was unable to reach in person, by the phone, and has only responded to emails when I try calling. She told me I cannot receive a refund and seemed completely unaware. This has been going on for over a week, and I haven't gotten much word from her at all back.HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENTUNTRAINED STAFF

As good as a hotel as you can expect for the price. Has everything I needed. Rooms clean with coffee in rooms and lobby. Great location with lots of great dining within walking distance. Note that there is onsite parking but it is expensive.

I was in town for the weekend to attend a wedding. Location is great, walking distance to a lot of nice restaurants and coffee shops. There are a few spots at the hotel but you're better off parking in the parking garage across the street and the hotel will validate your parking. They do have quite a few handicap spots at the hotel and a wheelchair friendly entrance from it. The entrance off the street is not handicap friendly with two big steps to get in.The hotel has been around for a while and is a bit dated but still nice. Rooms are spacious and the beds are really nice. The bathrooms are okay. If you're older or have mobility issues the very low toilets might be an issue. I really wish hotels started being more environmentally friendly and stopped using the bar soaps that will be used for a day or two and then thrown out. Same with the small plastic bottles for shampoo etc. In Europe it's much more common to see dispensers for soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion.Apart from hearing people outside in the hallway there is not much noise coming from other people. Just be aware that if you're having conversations in the bathroom that the room you share the vent with can hear you pretty well. We could hear our friends who had the room below ours. The hotel has free breakfast but honestly you're better off getting breakfast at one of the coffee shops (one is just across the street). This is another area where I wish American hotels would take after Europe where they often (especially in Scandinavia) have large complimentary buffet style breakfast.Overall the hotel is great. Nice and helpful staff. Clean rooms, comfy beds. You can walk pretty much everywhere you need to go. Just make sure that you put the "do not disturb" sign on your door the morning of your check out. Despite our hotel bill still being slipped under the door and us clearly still being there, housekeeping came into our room without knocking. Happened to another person who was there for the same wedding. This was well before the 11 am check out time.Walkability: West Chester is one of the most walkable towns I've been to in the states. You can walk to a lot of restaurants and cafes.

Hotel Warner saved us from an awful first hotel choice. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and there is a bar attached to the lobby with a local bartender who was great to speak to. The morning breakfast is upstairs and so good! A fun place to stay in the heart of downtown West Chester.
