Average grocery store, they have their brand bowl and basket, which is more affordable. Bring your own bags or buy at the cashier for $.35 a bag, fresh product, liquor store separately within the location, good selection of fish.

The store in West Chester is disgusting. Entrance should be reported to the board of health. Dirty, smells, and rug should be ripped up for sanitary reasons. The small guy in customer service is always grumpy and never helpful. Peaches on sale last week. All were mealy. Wonder why on sale!
Watched an employee let a huge spider crawl down a hole in freezer dept.
I won't shop there anymore.

One star just for the noisy/flawed/damaged shopping carts, overpriced products, expired meats, miserable (possibly prejudice) employees, and a somewhat lacking selection. Don't even get me started on the lack of bags. Needs serious improvements.
I do not like going here and never feel welcome when I do. The vibes are off.

Self checkout staff are very rude, and their. It language gives off the vibe that they are annoyed when we need help with a coupon or an issue with an item ringing up.
The Aldi down the road has pretty much everything I need so I’ve stopped shopping at this location because their prices are higher and the customer service is worse.

If I could give a 0 I would. After an experience with the store associate David, my day was ruined. I went to go buy a pack of seltzers and he was questioning me for another person’s ID. I dropped my 50 dollars worth of goods and went to another store. The amount of bad reviews against David, maybe the store will finally fire him.

While I know it is a convenience to use the ShopRite from home service, the number of times I have received past date meat is ridiculous! I even left a note for the shopper to pick meats with dates farther out. ShopRite needs to pay closer attention to their meats, and remove old or expiring that day. Today, I got chicken that expired yesterday and was open and leaked chicken juice on my kitchen floor! The smell was horrendous, so it was obviously bad! I also got ground beef that has a use by today date. There goes my weekly meal planning!
Try to call to get a credit, good luck! Neither the ShopRite from home line or customer service answers.

Absolutely horrible. Really tried for three years since it’s only one street light away but I’d rather drive half an hour than come back here again. Customer services is always HORRIFIC. The guy always is crappy and the girl never says anything. I just stood there for five minutes and engines ended up leaving because he wanted to ignore be and be in his little office, PER USUAL! I’m so fed up. Don’t go here. The one check out woman is ignorant as can be, and other people have made posts about her in Facebook groups. The only good thing they have going for them in that store is Sue, who is fantastic. She deserves better.

Purchased two lamb blade chops. Good price. Opened when I got home and the stench from spoiled meat was overwhelming. Put them in the garbage and took the garbage out. Came back in the house and the kitchen still stunk.

For Muslim communities in West Chester, this shoprite has great options for Halal certified meats.
1. Halal beef bacon (they usually have 2 beef bacon. Please check backside of package to see the one that is certified)
2. lamb and beef Halal certified.
3.chicken Halal certified

I shop at this store quite frequently. There’s an old balding man that works up front and monitors the self check out- his name is David. He’s extremely rude and watches over me like I’m going to steal something and makes rude comments. If he has to correct something he is extremely condescending and just plain rude. I’ve heard him be rude to others too on numerous occasions. You shouldn’t have someone this miserable working in customer service. He isn’t the only rude employee either- there are several of them at this location that made this their career and are clearly miserable in their work.
