Natural Lands' Stroud Preserve is a beautiful and peaceful place with nicely maintained, well-marked trails. It offers multiple environments, from pebble trails good for kids to grass paths and wooded areas with bucolic views. There are trails to meet preferred difficulty levels, providing a moderate workout with some elevation changes. The preserve features undeveloped hillsides, a pretty creek, and sweet-smelling grass with the buzz of bees and birds. It is a great spot for a walk, run, or hike. Visitors should note the parking lot is often very full, and recommend bringing water and sunscreen as most trails are not shaded.
Really nice place to walk around! The undeveloped hillsides that greet you from both sides of the yellow trail are welcome and calming. The parking lot was very full when we arrived, so I would suggest planning to expand that further.

Nicely maintained trails and lots of bucolic views await those fortunate enough to find a parking space. Too bad there aren't bike racks. This would make a nice stop to mix things up on a bike ride.

It's beautiful and peaceful and there are times, when the grass is high that it smells so sweet and there's the buzz of bees and birds are singing. We need more places like this and less malls
