Good store with great people?

Terrible experience. Registrar would rather talk on the phone for personal reasons than check someone out. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Pharmacist is very rude and not helpful. They don’t call/email/text to explain why your prescription is not available or why they can’t fill it. So then they are annoyed when you have to call and ask questions.

This Walgreens pharmacy has been a pleasure to deal with since I started using them earlier this year. The pharmacists have been incredibly friendly and helpful, even when they're unable to get my prescription because of a shortage. Also, the photo counter/service is great - fast service and quality pictures!

i use to love this store, now its terrible. It has been raising its prices all the time. $4.00 for a small bag of life savers? WTF!!!!!! That is just one example out of many. It is getting really bad anymore. They want people to spend money, But guess what, It is really going to bring us in a recession deeper and deeper. Go in and look at there prices, You will walk the heck out of the store.....

God help you if you have to actually get a prescription filled at this location. If you call, they will put you on hold for 20 minutes just to hang up on you. Then when you show up when your prescription is supposed to be ready, it's not. Not so much the fault of the staff as they are consistently short staffed it appears. But horrible experience every time.

I'd like to call attention to the amazing workers at the store's photo center. I needed to print a number of Christmas card photos in a hurry, and hoped I could get them that night, but the system for ordering said it would take multiple days to print. So, like any slightly frustrated yet hopeful customer, I stood in line to talk to the workers at the photo center counter to ask what could be done. Not only were they very polite and understanding about my situation, they said they could do them in the next ten minutes if we wanted to browse the store. Lo and behold, after shopping for a few last-minute stocking stuffers, I returned to the counter to find the photos ready to be paid for. Thanks again to that team working the photo center counters during the holidays and always!

I really like this Walgreens. The younger male pharmacist (sorry don’t know his name) has been great the few times I’ve encountered him for medication and vaccines. Today, he did my flu shot and I was in and out in 3 minutes - not an exaggeration.Edit: today I went through the drive thru to pick up the medications my PCP office sent in. I have Covid. I asked the guy in the drive thru if he could get me mucinex and explained I couldn’t come in because I’m Covid positive. He said sure and I saw him go into the store aisle. He came back telling me he got the cheapest one and went on to tell me the price. He went above and beyond for me today. I appreciate the kindness even though so small.

Very happy with this pharmacy and drug store. The staff has always been available to help as needed, find stock, answer questions, etcetera. Pharmacy has gone above and beyond to acquire needed medications. Thankful to have this store in my area!

I'm rather amused at the vast differences in responses about customer service at the pharmacy. I've been using the East Bradford Walgreen's since it took over the Happy Harry's data base just down the road. 10 years maybe? While there have been some lines that challenged ones patience during covid, I have had prompt, helpful service 98% of the time. Many people who are picking up a prescription are under stress and the techs have to deal with it all day, all week. I'm a very satisfied customer. And yes, I have prescriptions for anxiety too. It's always ready.

We normally shop at a different Walgreens pharmacy. Our regular pharmacy was closed yesterday because of not having a pharmacist available. Very unusual. The Walgreen's system offered to have my wife's script filled at this Bradford Plaza store by 12 noon today. Since my wife needed the test strips, she placed the order. She received an email confirming that they would be ready for pickup by 12 noon today. We arrived at 12:20 PM. The script was in a pile and was not filled. The pharmacist said that she could only give us 100 and not the needed and prescribed 400. I accepted on the part of my wife. The pharmacist said that we could get the rest after 25 days, which is very strange for a partial fill. We stopped at our regular pharmacy on the way home, which reopened, to pick up one of my prescriptions. That pharmacist said that the Bradford Plaza pharmacist was wrong because the script would die before the 25 days transpired. We then had to go back to this Bradford Plaza store to cancel the purchase. We had to waste 80 minutes and car miles because of the Bradford Plaza pharmacist's mistakes, including not trying to fill the script by the promised time, not notifying us that they didn't have the prescribed quantity, and then telling me that we could get the rest in 25 days, which was bogus. I will never again deal with this pharmacy.

I hate to post this, because it's nitpicky, but I've been experiencing issues at this pharmacy lately. My son has eczema issues and we get our scripts here. The new non-steroidal he's using took a week to come in at this location. When I went in to pick up over the weekend, I waited in line for 20 minutes to be told they didn't know where the script was. That they'd "misplaced" it, and could I come back later when they refill it. I'd only received about 7 automated calls about it in 4 days so I was shocked they lost it. I received a call 10 minutes after leaving that they'd found it. When I returned later, after running necessary errands, I entered the pharmacy to find that I could only pay in cash. The person who left a message for me was not automated and they failed to inform me that I needed cash.I didn't have it, so I left to come back later. Fast forward, I called their line today to see what the copays would be as these are new scripts and now I need cash, and their outgoing message says they are "closed". I'm so confused.Way too many phone system issues, payment issues, and delays at the moment. I can't blame one particular person, and I know pharmacies are strapped for staff too, but I would suggest just starting with updating a phone system to have it actually function, and maybe when leaving a message inform people they need to pick up scripts with cash if you know those systems are down. It's getting to the point where I may just need to move my business.
